It's really sad and true for many African American preachers push this ugly thing called, "prosperity gospel." My boyfriend he himself is African American, he's told me first hand experience with this. He said its really messed how many (but not all) African American preachers take advantage of their people. He also told me that not only are many young African American guys not going to church, but theres a more now going to churches that are predominantly white or Hispanic.
Not all church's are like this! But I know some that are which is sad. In fact it's similar to the ol saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people" so "church's don't steal from people, people steal from people" Read the the bible and do what is in your heart to do right!
