@aandrebs90 yes, Aussie accent is much more like British accent - in fact, it's more like Cockney English - but one should never say that to them coz they might take offense , for Cockney English is deemed 'substandard' and it is spoken by people from the lower social classes in London and her vicinities - also they might take offense coz Australia was initially colonised by prisioners, hence their accent
