  • I was there.Admittedly Therapy,Rollins Band and the Chilis were the main draw for me.Bur Senser & Jesus Lizard were big unexpected highlights

  • Great night, went to bed at 6.30am,up at 7 packed away tent,puked-up,bus to Glasgow and saw them that night supporting Rollins(again)

  • big up to bearded theory :) cannot wait, the best little festival, hands down!

  • See Senser at Beardedtheory Festival in 2010

  • Good for 5 min? Mate, Senser are still amazing, & are still releasing great music. They've out-lived Rage Against The Machine anyway.

  • @MattGoneWrong hey rage is best for ever!

  • i was ere 10 yrs old ahhh i went fkin mental

  • I was there and it was bloody fantastic. 15 years later and its still a great song

  • And any way sir fucking cosmo after insulting me and my dead parents,i dont think any of this was aimed at you it was the nazi above this conversation a so called man who goes by the name 'siegheigyouniggers' .So now why dont you fuck off and lay down with my dead family. Same as 99% of people on line can't even go with the name the was given at birth you faceless cunt!!

  • Your parents really called you "jay1743" then did they? Weird choice, but judging by the poor job they did in raising you I'm hardly surprised.

  • Can you not read? What this has to do with dead parent is beyond me you thick cunt . They are dead, how the fuck dead can people bring someone up is news to me and the rest of the medical world.Hope your parents are nice and healthy and would never wish them any harm. Now as for us,very cheeky from afar are we not cosmo, fuck i forgot the sir.Lets swap emails and we can meet face to face and see who can take the piss out of dead family and who is the badly dragged up boy. jay xxx

  • Look at the crowd...this was 1994. Now look at the crowd at a modern reading/Glasto. Times have indeed changed.

  • It's like a trip back in time - the crowd have shaggy hair and scruffy clothes. But they're just as middle class as today, and it's astonishingly mono-ethnic.

  • Very, very true my friend. People now stand and watch a band like they are at the cinema watching a film and more interested pointing their camerphones at the stage. No emotion or anything, God im glad i went to Reading/Glasto in the 90s cause theres no way you'd get a crowd like that now.

  • I shaked hands with these guys, talkt to them at ratrock, awesome!

  • Yeah man fuck the system lol...I used to love this when I was a kid

  • it's not that they sound like ratm, it's the spirit of self-determination and the incendiary lyrics. that's what made them one of the british bands most like ratm in 1994

'no soft puppet can ever put a limit in it'

  • Rage against the machine?...please, they sound nothing like them!

Ok so their's a guitar and a rapper...but's thats where their it end's.

Heavier in some places, more techno, trip -hop in others....like comparing Aerosmith with Anthrax...why would you?

  • twat, you have no clue at all do you?? think about what you said and re-listen to what you may have heard during that time. dick

  • i saw them yesterday, their looks changed alot!

and yea! when i saw em i emidiatly had to thing about rage against the machine

  • YESSSS great to see that footage, i was right at the front getting booted on the head by crowd surfers covered in mine and others sweat, great gig great fest and it was scorching weather for a fucking change.

  • yeah, they sound like rage, im sure they're inspired by zack

  • i woz in there somwhere r h c p headlined

  • quality band. gutted i missed them the other night in bristol. would love to see them

  • why the fuck didn't this band make it?

  • Comment removed

  • these guys are playing about 5th on the bill at guilfest this year if anyone's interested

  • This is cool to see again. I was there and it was incredible!!!

  • Awesome !!!

  • It's gone - & you can't buy it back...

  • I love Rainman!

  • saw them at reading 94 they had it all at theier feet they were dope

  • Cool i was in that crowd somewhere?!

shame that they seem to have just vanished from the music scene

  • They were one hell of a band, there's nothing out there today that touches this. Such a shame that they fizzled out so quickly, they could have been the long-term flag-bearers for a much needed scene of angry, political music.

  • Bought most of their stuff after "Stacked Up" but don't think anything was as good as the first album.

I too was at this festival and it was a great show

  • This still remains one of, if not the, best live show I've ever witnessed. And I've seen Rage, Tool, NIN, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Janes Addiction and White Zombie to list but a few contempories.

And what does Reading get these days? The f**king Kooks! 'Drawn' into an age of panic, more like.

  • This was my first time to the Reading Festival, Great Gig!!!

  • Fucking ROCK.

  • trop cool ça me rappelle mes 17/18ans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!vraiment bon

  • Pareil ;)

  • Senser vs RATM? no contest really. Senser was an inspration to RATM as was Urban Dance Squad. And RATM will admit to both. Just variations on a theme really. And all three bands found their niche, voice, theme and market and did very well for a while. Thatcherite Britain was not a nice country and I guess nothing has changed much. But anger and dissent are no longer a market. These days you are likely to be called "unpatriotic" whatever the heck that means.

  • i agree somewhat with your sentiment but as for being called unpatriotic for voicing dissent in Britain? i cant agree wit hthat because millions do it everyday, its a national pastime, this isnt america ,just because you diss gordon brown you aren't a traitor.

  • i was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great memories I was in that mess! Still listen to Stacked Up once in a while.

  • to the poster 'itakesmack'

"This lot were good for 5 mins... the british Rage Against The Machine?"

Less smack and more reality checks for you ... stop writing rubbish since you obviously don't know what this band is all about. Try the debut album and you will hear the range RATM never had ...

As always, music-wise, Uk > Usa

  • I was 15 and at my first festival here. Fucking spot on!

  • i was 18,wot a weekend

  • RATM are a good band but they're a lot different o this band so comparing them to anything but rap/metal is futile, these guys are a different breed and a better band.

  • I was at this gig, blinding hot day, blinding hot band

  • I just don't know what's better. "State of Mind" or this. Both songs have power even today - i think i can call it as cyberpunk genre because of electronic background. When I hear this I always see cityscape like in "Blade Runner" or "Johnny Mnemonic". Kudos Senser!

  • HAIL SENSER!

  • year before this, this lot on the 2nd tent stage, mid afternoon and us lot on the ropes climbing cos it was rammed was the closest I've seen to a tent collapse at reading..happy happy leicester Fox

  • Yeah,great fukkin Band!!!

Love the first album so much that it hurts!!!!

The other albums are also awesome.

Blasting song,my favourite from the cd.

  • i like this band

  • This is a fucking amazing song from such an underated band they should be huge there music is so fucking mint!

  • too right, I remember these guys starting up on the smaller stages. First Album is timeless

  • how big is this crowd lol :p

  • Dunno what you mean about good for 5 minutes?!?! Their debut album is a classic that I still isten to now and they returned to their original line-up with another great album in 2004.

  • went to see original line up senser last saturday in south east london in a tiny club, they was on top form, bloody loud,

  • i was there, and so were 83000 others that afternoon.

it was fucking awesome and i also shit myself!

    WHAT A CRUSH!

  • You rarely get bands as good as this anymore!

  • exactly right mate, bands now are all about image and money

  • don't get festival sets as good as this anymore

  • Awesome gig..this takes me back!

  • Excellent, do you have any more from this set mate?

  • sorry - this is it
