ben and Joe may have introduced many to weightlifting but they were responsible for pushing more and more steroids onto bodybuilders------now see what we have on the Olympia stage now as compared to 1970, physiques that are disgsuting.........Rip Da Juggla
He stepped down because he was very ill as you can clearly see in this video, his voice has declined and you could tell that he was sick,he passed away shortly afterwards.
Ben and Joe Weider are great men. Muscle & Fitness and FLEX magazines have been a great influence on me to eat healthy and train hard with new ideas and new ways of training.
Now on to religious MuscleMissions
Hey Jackass! Maybe Ben Weider stepped down as president because he was at a point of his life where he was feeling ill and couldn't carry on the job as President of IFBB. The Weider's and their lawyers are busy men. Why would they take time to read your stupid letter?
he wasnt a great man....coruption ,favouritsm..etc etc......nah sorry for the bad view but hey how many bb shows are fixed...plz dont say none.... how many naturall bbare there?????? ps i do the sport and take gear so not contradicting just stateing fact....im sorry he passed away
body buiding took it's own direction. Fans influences it, athletes influences it and the business just follow. There is no business where there is no clients. Now, bodybuilding is bigger than Weiders dream, but, at least, they bring it to us and out of Hoffman hands. I dont like actual professional bodybuilding but love to train. Just read «Brothers of iron»,for some history. Its one side view but a good start. RIP Ben, my fellow quebecers!
Mr.Weider called my father at the office on friday afternoon and told him he had a appointment at the jewish generale hospital! he said he felt weak, and asked if he could be brought there! we had to cary him down the stairs from his bedroom. We droped him off and told
Mrs. Weider to call wen he needed to be picked up! later on Mrs.weider calls and said there gona keep him! the next morning my father got a call that he had died! R.I.P mr.weider it was a pleasure working with u for the summer

I don't agree to the direction he and his brother took bodybuilding, but nevertheless they made it popular.
