  • He obviously said to create a BACK UP key, nothing was mentioned about breaking in to houses or that you would be carrying the original with you on the same key chain as your BACK UP

  • the aluminum can is too thin. I notice you didn't show yourself really USING the key. It would just twist and lose it's shape in the lock, and maybe get stuck. Are people really this stupid?

  • @Starlord1999 Yah it would bend

  • wtf

  • could i use a can of tango i dont drink coke lol

  • @speed1680 Tango? You must be in really poor third world country

  • @Cesarlees yes im in the uk...

  • @speed1680 and it was a joke ffs get a grip

  • @speed1680 chill out wanker. I was just having a piss innit?. cheerio govna!

  • ok so if you have a guest and they leave a half cut up coke can at yours you might think something was up PMSL wtf was this about anyway lol :)

  • Or I can get a real copy at the key cutters in 1 minute.

  • @lolwut1337n355 Penny saved is a penny earned buddy

  • @DracoAzule No it's just a penny saved.

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Interesting, i have Coca-Cola can, dont try this in school of...

I speak french and little english.

  • I'm gonna laugh when you all lose your keys and don't have a backup Don't you all know people lose things even keys why would you have 1 key and no back up keys

  • Thumbs up if you're watching this in 2064!

Man, the New iPhone 39B rules =D

Thanks goodness for the end of WW9

  • Holy crap.More videos of coying keys.SHOW MORE RESPECT FOO!Thumbs up if you agree!

  • I think the gallium key is much more satisfying. Look that one up.

  • get another Copy Before you Loose It?

  • Fake an Gay T_T

  • Lol, sir, your door lock sucks major dick.

  • haha. obviously fake. at the end you can clearly see that you use the original key which is painted red at the end...

  • Try that cheap shit on a real lock like a Schlage panty-waist.

  • Mainly this is for making a copy of a key you are borrowing

  • @Gwilldabeast thanks for the idea :)

  • If you loose your time............try it.

  • id kick in the door :)

  • do i look like i carry scissors around?

i would rather brick the windows if i wanted to get in somewhere

  • he was opening it thru the inside wich u can open it with watever key tht u want he needs to open it thru the outside in order to see if it works

  • Wow, thanks for the lesson there, Professor.

  • home depot will make a copy for just over a dollar, this not even useful in an emergency situation since you need an original to make this thin unusable copy so I really fail to see the point trying to trace and cut out those little points I could be there already - literally

  • liar

  • yes um buddy that might work on your farm house door but not mine

  • perhaps making multiple cuts of the same key and sticking them together can be a good backup template. i wouldn't use this in a lock but i would use it to get a key made in the event i lost the original. Walmart seems like a best bet but hey its an idea.

  • @SVT460 You only need *one* template. Then all you need is a standard issue lockpick torque wrench, or indeed, an 80's movie hairpin to do the job.

  • it's a decent troll video... but thumbs down as i didn't find it in that section.

  • stop it at 1:05 you can see its a normal key :)

  • I think I'll pass on the potential risk of fucking up my door lock with broken pieces of aluminum

  • someone locked it from the other side ... they dont show that

  • YOU SON OF A BITCH I GOT THIS GODDAMN TIN CAN SHIT STUCK IN MY DOOR NOW IM LOCKED OUT AND I CANT PUT MY KEY IN BCAUSE THE DAMN FOIL SHIT WONT COME OUT...FUCK YOUR MOTHER!!!!

  • i just go to walmart....they make keys there

  • The one time I tried it, it worked. I made a copy of a key to the safe at my job. I found making two copies and gluing them together works well. Don't rely on the aluminum to turn the lock for you; it's just to hold the pins in the correct location. Use something thin and rigid to do the turning.

  • fake. all that's gunna happen is that u have to spend money for replacing ur doorknob becuz some dumbfuk put a piece of soda can in the hole

  • fake just tried it

  • But if you already have the real key in hand, why spend an hour to make a flimsy temporary key? If you need a copy it's 2 dollars for a real key copy at Home Depot...

  • you might as well just grab a moltov cocktail and hrow it at your door

  • Does this really work or fake?

  • Okay, show me anyone who does this in 60 seconds...

  • makes aluminium key ,puts into lock ,turns key ,snap aluminium key in lock FUCK expensive locksmith ,smash a 1/4 pannel window cheaper

  • Or you could go to a hardware store and spend a couple of dollars for a real one.

  • Awesome video, never thought to try this. Great example of why it is so important to guard your keys, you don't want people making copies easily. To the people saying it isn't thick enough to be able to turn the lock, just insert a torsion wrench from a lockpick set, or any other flat piece of metal, and your problem is solved.

  • @MatrimCauthon001 People want to hack things, but they don't even learn the basics. Don't bother correcting idiots on the internet.

  • it works, dont shout if you didnt try it. i tryd it and it worked

  • shit i lost my key i better look for ways to open my door on youtube o hey a vid on howto but i need the key first :C fuckin fail

  • moron the vid is 60 sec long U idiot

  • If it takes 60 seconds then why is the video 11 minutes long?

  • i uld imagine how this could work, try either putting another flat peice of metal in the keyhole with the tin copy, & turn it, or making a bunch of em & shovin em all in & givving it more strength :) GOOD LUCK

  • FAIL!!

  • why would you need to make a copy if you have the goddamn original in your hand!

  • @miles7038 So you can give the original back

  • @miles7038 To copy other people's keys and show them how important it is to guard your keys closely.

  • @miles7038 its your neibhors or gf's your dads hidden porn compartment

  • @miles7038 Simple, If you work at a bank you have the keys. Make a key so you can come back when its closed and get in, steal the money, get out and simple passersby will not notice anything is wrong until the cops show up. Gives you more time to get away before a random person happens to see or hear the busted door glass and calls the cops.

  • @miles7038 You can also use it to steal your buddys car when he is drunk and lends you the key. Make a copy and, a few days later, he finds his car stolen. No one suspects a thing.

  • @miles7038

He said if you wanna make an emergency backup key. You fucking retard do you even listen?

  • @miles7038 Are you fucking retarded? You've NEVER lost a key, or given anyone a copy of a key? Are you certain you'll NEVER need a spare in case of losing your main?

That being said, there's no way this key would be rigid enough to turn the lock, even if it's strong enough to overcome the pingspring tension. XD

  • @fuduzan5562

You have to also use a lockpicker's torsion bar, or a screw driver to actually turn the lock once the copy has been inserted.

  • @fuduzan5562 just layer it...

  • @miles7038 in the beggining, he said EMERGENCY BACKUP KEY... dumb fuck...

  • Comment removed

  • @miles7038 why would you go to the hardware store to make a copy with the original in hand...its the same reason...all 27 of you are dumb..

  • @miles7038 ...26 people aren't any smarter than a pile of rocks!

  • @miles7038 A spare?

  • @miles7038

this is used when you wanna copy somebody elses key without them knowing it...for example friends, ex girlfriend, etc

  • @miles7038 Because he just says that to sound like he isn't encouraging cloning of other peoples keys maybe?

  • 1000 seconds*

  • xa its 67 seconds

  • TROLOLOL

  • So real

  • lol this is such bullshit itll just bend -_-

  • does this really work?

  • why on every video does someone say something bad or trying to make ppl laff about the video :S

  • @magnuspoiss2 yes! they do lol

  • I can get a key made in 60 seconds...at WALMART!

  • now you need to cut out 5 copies of that tin key, stack them up,then heat them up over a hob, then the paint will melt and glue them together, making it strong enough to turn a lock.

  • Bullshit! That will break in your lock and it would definitely take longer than 60 seconds to make the useless piece of shit. For 2 or 3 bucks you can get a real key made and not have to replace your door locks.

  • THANKS CUZ NOW I KNOW WHAT UR KEY LOOKS LIKE!!!!!!! I HOPE U HAVE A MILLION BUCKS

  • UMMM Use Gallium Bitch Insted Of Can!!!

  • FUCK ALL U ASSHOLES !!! FUCK U!!

  • HAHAHA WTF??? xD

  • Why don't you just go to a key cutting place and get a second key made?

  • This wasted over a minute of my life I will never get back, thanks A.H.!

  • swallow it.

  • 60 SECONDS MY ASS

  • DUMB!!!!

  • Even if it's too thin just make another one then attach it together until it's thick enough

  • U guys see he haves a cover on the key

  • i'm gonna go make it jam it in the door to my parents car and laugh because it wont get out but then i will make another and shove it up your key hole bitch

  • thats a fucking shit man

  • or go to a hardware store and pay the 5 bucks and get a real copy

  • @dstump87 true

  • omg i did it, and it works, so freaking awesome

  • Oooops, A standard Tin can has a wall thickness of 80 micrometers. U cant turn anything with it...

  • @Racineism uhm, uhm.... say doc, couldn't we stack a couple of them together then to increase rigidity?

  • @stiIIIits FUCK YOU! xD i just shot a stream of juice out of my nose from that damn comment!

  • @Racineism make more than one then put them togther

  • @Racineism you could make a bunch and put em together

  • بيتعفط المفتاح

  • do it work?

  • It works guys I tested in 2 different locks

  • I can't imagine that would work....

I work in a shop that sells locks and cuts keys.

takes me about 30seconds to 2mins to make a real copy of the key and when you factor in the cost of the can, scissors and pen it would be cheaper to come and see me.

  • The metal is too soft and isn't strong enough to push up the pins unless you have a really weak lock. You're better off just getting a key copier for like $5

  • Even if this worked, which it clearly can't for numerous different reasons, why would you spend half an hour making it when you can get a real duplicate made for $2?

  • it's more than 60 seconds... What a waste of time, just kick the door open.. Sheesh! -.-

  • a little question..

    you can't find your key..

so how do you copy? -_-

  • Make fire using potato

  • Obviously it won't turn the shaft, but what if u insert it to lift the pins then turn it with a flat blad screwdriver...?

  • are people really soooo STUPID to think aluminum can keys will actually lift the pins. let alone turn the tumbler?!?!?!?!?

  • RECYCLING at Home At its Greatest

  • Cause it won't bend when you try to twist it.

  • no, not true. thumbs down. a waste of my time.

  • This does not work

  • If u dont fuck off an get a "JOB" im gonna take the fuckin "Key" and shove it up your arse :)

  • i got better lock on my bathroom than your outdoor

  • It takes me like 60 seconds to cut the fucking can

  • make like 5 of the copy keys and strap em together, then it wont be so flimsy... but i cut my fingers alot :/

  • If you were to lose your key you could take the "copy" to a hardware store and they would be able to make an actual key from the copy. Good to have backups.

  • the aluminum brakes inside your key lock hahahahhaha

  • You can get the same effect using a copy machine. If you're lucky you might even get a matching blank at a hardware store so it'll look like just another legit key on your ring. In any case, a single ply of a tin can isn't likely to be 100% effective. Tumblers are rarely in a line that straight.

  • you also can use galium

  • fake and gay...

  • this is fucking stupid....

if you get locked out of your house and need an emergency key, you don't have a key to copy.

and if you are just making one for later, just take your ass to Walmart and get one made

    .__________.

  • BULLSHIT

  • I just want to point out that if you have all this time to make this "Emergency Key" it is probably much safer and reliable to get an "Emergency Key" at your local Wal-Mart. Common sense people

  • eso se va a doblar seguro

  • i'm pretty sure that guy just like warped his "key" right at the end

  • @skitop93 i gues so but it would be a pain in the a... and if it broke to fare in ude hav to take the lock apart

  • Yh but if that snaps off in there ur fucked

  • @georgeknipe Needle nose pliers.

  • JajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaJajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaj

  • yes bull it gino6719

  • @gino6719 read like 1000 of them and im still not dead

  • @gino6719 yeah i sooo believe you yup it worked I soooo believe u.

  • @gino6719 Imagine someone dies just because he read a youtube spam lol. The half world would be dead by now ..

  • BULLSHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • And now how do I get the broken tin key out of my lock bitch

  • @X3OBEDX3 Tin is too weak to move the tumbler, you should of at the very least doubled the can...

  • @X3OBEDX3 i've got the same story so fock you sabinainman2541

  • @X3OBEDX3 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!! Good question.. ! :D (Y)

  • @X3OBEDX3 Well you make a Hammer out of Tin and then beat it back out

  • @buttmanroad LOL

  • @X3OBEDX3 aluminum

  • cut it out very nicely lol i thought he would of said neatly

  • 60 seconds? finding a can, a pen and scissors already takes 10 minutes

  • if this actually works you need a new lock

  • 60 seconds? fuckin come on man, and an aluminium can? when you go to turn the cylinder with even a screwdriver behind the aluminium the pins are going to bend the notches man, I just don't think that would work at all buddy

  • Ill remember that when i lock myself out of my "my name is earl" doublewide......

  • a tin piece of metal is gonna unlock a door...BULLSHIT

  • wow that could be useful :)

  • How dos it work it is flimsy isn't it cause it's a can

  • awsome thats cool nice job :)

  • This guy is a jackass!

  • all I can say is that this guy is smoking really good stuff
