  • @psychotique27 their music is different form sorry, so they didnt not copy it..

  • DOES YOU'RE SO HOT SOUND LIKE SORRY SORRY?

    let's analyse

if you sing the chorus of SJ's SORRY SORRY alone without any background at all? all you wud hear is

bejak bejak bojak mojak bojak bojak bejak bejak

see? i can ever hear the song itself just reading this

you're so hot's chorus goes like:

    tadadan tadan tararan tadan

clearly even the rhythm itself is diffrent

WHAT SOUNDS LIKE SORRY SORRY IS PART OF THE BACKGROUND MUSIC

that tad tad tad tatad tad tatad tadad part AND NOTHIN' MORE

  • @wmllepetitprince

Of course XLR8 would change some things, otherwise it'd literally be the exact same song. "You're so hot, hot, hot" is sang in a very identical rhythm to "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry". Admittedly, they do change it up with "Girl, you're on fire" and some other tidbits.

At 1:14, it hangs on the same note the verse for Sorry, Sorry does. The pattern is the same, but the rhythm is different. 1:29 is Ryeowook's prechorus in Sorry, Sorry with one or two notes moved.

  • @RipYourSpineOut well the thing is legally if it's not exactly the same then no lawsuit can be charged kc ang accusation is plagiarism e so if they're just the same for some notes then it's different again walang kaso kaya nga hanggang ngayon dedma lang SME kc khit cla they know alang issue gets? tpos again legally kung ang SME mismo e alang say so nobody can say na copycat kc that is accusation.. ung nagsabi ngayon non ang may kaso na cuz that is defamation na kc it causes damage clear? ;D

  • @wmllepetitprince

Your understanding of the legal world is messed up. Artists have been sued before for publishing songs that sound similar, even if they're not exact copies, to another song. Just because you tweaked one or two notes, it doesn't mean it's not plagiarism.

And no, this isn't defamation. If it was on a scale large enough where it might potentially end their careers, like an anti-XLR8 campaign on TV, then maybe. I'm simply pointing out facts from a musical standpoint.

  • @RipYourSpineOut i come from the corporate world so i know this more than anybody else wud do.. yes a lot of artists have been sued up before yes pero nagreact ba ang SME? di ba hindi? alam mo ba na ang SME pa nga ang may charges in fact? sample Deal With It and Juliet ni hindi man lang binago as in sakto.. and then it's not you that i'm referring about defamation kundi ung haters over the net kc dat actually is online libel di lang naiimplement ang batas so alang kaso clear?

  • @wmllepetitprince

I can't read Tagalog, but I'm not hating on XLR8. I've listened to their other songs- they definitely have talent and potential. It's just that you shouldn't let your support for a group lead you into denial. You're So Hot is more or less Sorry Sorry. SM Entertainment hasn't filed a lawsuit. Good for them. Does it make XLR8 a bad group? No. I'm not saying XLR8 is bad- at all, I'm simply pointing out the blatant fact that this song is Sorry Sorry re-done.

  • awwww... i think i starting hating some filipinos na di naapreciate ung music nila.. buti pa mga french people appreciate nila... AND THEY said tagalog words are pleasant to here! when they listen xlr8 songs

  • @mproclea09 yeah do you know that in almost every xlr8 channel that i've been to?

it's the foreigners themselves who actually support and appreciate X L R 8

    i'm british pinoy and i L O V E X L R 8 ! !

sad to say it's their fellow pinoys who bring them down

that's wrong these guys represent your flag

the nicest trait that koreans have? is that they WILL NEVER EVER pull their fellow korean dOWN

they're a very united people i think even if their kpop ain't good they're still gonna support it

    go go go xlr8

    i ♥ xlr8

  • k-pop looks all the same so gay, while p-pop have different looks there's mestizo, chinito, moreno, and they're more men looking

  • I'm a Filipino and i don't give a fuck if music changes as long as i like it then i'll stick to it , I have different taste in music and so does everybody so could you stop pretending that you dont like it ... every music has it's time ... K-pop or P-pop/F-pop if you don't like it then why are visiting its video??? DUMBASS !!! MUSIC IS LIFE no music no life , no life no music

  • Music in the Philippines is dying. and don't give me that "tangkilikin ang sariling atin" crap. music like this is not "sariling atin". it's just mass-marketed, redundant crappy kpop with different lyrics.

  • FUCKING GAY SHITS!

  • mga bading!

  • Haha! Finally something that is more annoying than the beiber

  • Wow, I actually like this song. I'm usally a girl group fan but, this is really good. I wish they have succses in the future if they ever decide to go global. Break a leg XLR8 in the future to come!!!

  • dudes ur just no match for SUJU..

  • kaya hindi umuunlad ang pilipinas we are bringing each other down.. kung kelan kailangan nating suportahan ang isa't-isa!!

  • they piss me off , trying to copy Suju wtff

    Suju Fighting ! ;D

  • @sbsv23 theyre not copying suju..yeah maybe this song.but ..look FIRST: the album cover..... i saw i think ....ten or more kpop, jpop, americaN ALBUMS NA JUMPSHOT DIN.ang layo nga ng itsura nila sa suju album..SECOND: that sorry sorry tune was also from an old song so.....d rin original sakanila yun..peace

  • @sbsv23 I know, right? At first I thought I was listening to Suju, but no, Suju is original. Not these crappy wannabes.

  • bsta i <3 xlr8!!!!! keep it uP! ung haters jan ,,. wala na kaung mggwa kc psikat na ng pasikt ang xlr8! ... :)))))

  • WHAT THE HELL IS THIS EPIC

    FAIL HAHA

  • GO PRAISE THE COPYCATS STUPID MONKEYS

    -mariah carey-

  • @mikedfelix shut the hell up!

  • pro STUPID xlr8 fans MOTTO.

TANGKILIN ANG SARILING ATIN KAHIT PANGIT HAHA

  • THE BEST COPYCATS HAHAHA

  • your like super juniors

  • i love aki,mj and mm

  • I am happy that Sorry Sorry is so popular that others try to copy this song.

I am happy that Super Junior is so popular that group in other country try to copy their images.

Hope this group, XLR8 can find their unique characters but not copy others.

  • PPOP will certainly make a name in the music industry with this group! XLR8! Try to listen to their songs and you'll see pure TALENT esp. when they sing it LIVE! and I say it again they can SING and DANCE..hope they will be well appreciated esp. by Filipinos..I listen to jpop and kpop but I admit that PPOP is way better in English and the mix with Filipino lyrics was SUPERB! Never knew that it will really sound good..Let us SUPPORT our own PPOP! Don't bash them..give them a chance ^^

  • lamest boyband iv ever seen, gay. what a cheap attempt at being "the shit"

tsk..wlang ka originality..ganto ba dpat ang ipagmalaki?tsk. i feel sorry for u guys.

/FAIL -__-

  • one thing i love about filipinos is our vast talents in all aspects of music. i think we have to hone this and keep improving. just because we've taken someone else's culture doesn't mean we lost our sense of self.

music is a universal language. nobody owns it. it's about expressing ones self. this is just the beginning. in time, just like many times before, we've taken somebody else's language and made it into our own.

adapt and learn. then take it and make it yours.

  • Soo, What you guys are saying is

That Filipinos dont have the right to do 'POP' ?

    Of course, We do.

If Japan & Korea can do it,

    Why cant we?

    Please stop hating.

    They are begginers,

    Give them a Break.

    This Song is Awesome <3

Even though it had some Similarities from the song 'Sorry, Sorry'.

  • BTW. sa lhat ng nagsasabi na gumaya ang mga koreans sa jpop, oo gumaya cla..so un ba ang dahilan kaya pwede rin gumaya ang p-pop sa kpop? dba?isa pa im not defending kpop.. of course because i am a filipino.i am just saying my opinion that this song exactly sounds like sorry sorry, but i am not a hater of xlr8.actually,they are good. peace :)

  • sorry sorry sorry sorry..xD

  • @RainStorm69 I don't mean any offense but I think its kind of racist on how you said that they were pretty good looking for Filipinos. You could have stopped at good looking and dropped the for Filipinos part.

  • to all the fans of xlr8.. . and to those who are HATERS. ..

pop group. .. oo.. . hindi ma plea2se ng Xlr8 ung iba sa mga pilipino .. .

instead ung bumabatikos .. . tumahimik na lang .. . anu nman maga2wa nio ee.. . kanya2 nman tayong trip db.. .

  • Sa lahat ng nagsasabi na gayagaya ang P-pop sa K-pop..plz think of it, this kind of music is part of the music evolution, kaya hindi lang ang korea may karapatan gumawa ng k-pop, kaya ng Pinoy the new style or genre kaya nga tagalog ang songs ng P-pop at nagkataon lang katunog ng k-pop kasi nga isang genre lang ito & its all about pop!

plz just support our oun version of pop music-P-pop! okey & here is another P-pop group styling as Pinoy F4 named FAB4! view FAB4 ASK FOR MORE!

  • i support for ppop..

  • And to think that part of the lyrics are in Filipino. It's the first pop dance song in Filipino that doesn't make you cringe.

  • It's a good pop song and these boys sound good. Take time to listen to the bridge at 2:18-2:46. They know how to sing. They deserve a better music video, something kpopish but still original. Also, better image styling. This look is mid-2000 kpop. But to be clear, that is not their fault. It's the handlers. Hope the group does well so that it encourages more and better Filipino pop songs. We've never been great at the pop genre.

  • FOR THOSE HATERS!! Whats wrong if they act like k-pop..hello its POP generation..and they are filipino they doing it for there career if u dont like it then don't mind it keep ur opinion for ur self.. and they only copy the style not the song....

  • I won't be surprised if this video gets compared with SuJu's Sorry Sorry. Everything's identical. From how they dress up to the song's rhythm.

Some people just can't support this kind simply because they imitated too much from the original. Like the Pop Girls. The only difference between them is that this group looked more decent. (Pop Girls overdid everything: dance steps, fashion, etc.)

I really think it would have been way better if they did not get inspired too much by Kpop.

    Peace.

  • @psychotique27 i agree with you ... im just wondering... they just puff up parang kabute ... they didnt even undergo some training ... ewan ko ba kung pano cla na discover... d katulad ng mga kpop artist they train for 2-7 years bago mag debut as an artists ...

pero sa totoo lng magaling ang xLr8 .. they have the VOICE ... pero sa tingin ko kailangan pang gandahan ung mga Dance Routines and Choreography ... and ung concept ... para may Originality nman...

"SUPPORT PPOP! GO xLR8 and GO Ppop

  • @psychotique27 yeahh but philippines is not the only country that love kpop

  • OPM Rules!

  • the beat is really similar to Sorry Sorry. -_-

Its not just about the looks!!! It's about showing the world that Filipinos are talented! Do it by showing originality. We are waaaay more talented than just following "the trend".

    chillax guys..........

  • hihihiiXD I just found them because I read an articel about them copying Super Junior (I´m a big Suju-fan)

well I this band sounds really great (they have awesome voices^^) and about them copying ..well maybe they just made an similar song ...whats so bad about it...

  • "sorry sorry philippine version" haha.. lmfao!

  • lol.. for the haters of xlr8.. why dont you just quit wasting your time .. and get over it!.. kht anung gwin nio .. mdmi ding humahanga sa xlr8.. hnd aman kylangan png icompare .. lol

  • all this nonsense about trends and stuff... seriously? its clearly been copied.. the beat the tune and even the looks... cmonn Kpop should have their own culture and so do we.. Do you just wanna follow the "trend" and not make your own? im disapointed... i much prefer that old classic filipino songs... As a public we are the critic we can express our opinion and thats how internet work..

  • BIG MIstake for Copying the AUDIO for "SorrySorry" o.o

  • The word POP after the 1st letter of a counties name does not mean that it "COOL"... This can be done if you see America use the term A-pop rather than POP... The genres of K-pop and J-pop are different because of the different languages used... So the songs have this barrier which separates them from each other and from the common American POP genre... lastly... Koreans can translate songs like us Filipinos... But they don't make songs look like T***H.....Ako Filipino ako but dont be naive....

  • @lanzkilanz ano ba ung pinagsasabi mo..... read wiki... k-pop is similar to amercan pop music....

  • lastly... Koreans can translate songs like us Filipinos..... But they don't make songs look like T***H.....Ako Filipino ako but dont be naive..... POP in the Philippines means "RAP". Not dancing boy bands......Well lets just see if the people will love their MUSIC or their faces?!

  • lol. d ko alam yung song na sorry sorry pla ay Orginal kay Drew Ryan Scott He's frm an American band called Varsity Fanclub and wrote the song... not the super junior..

  • it sounds a bit like sorry sorry.

  • What the hell...

Kung di nyu alam, this is sung to the tune of Sorry Sorry...

    Plagiarism FTW. :D

  • If you think about it no one is super original out there. Everyone has a slice of something from other talents.

Filipinos don't support each other. Who wins? Foreigners.

  • damn! pti b nman tono ng kanta? cmon obviously gnaya nila ang kpop.. whoever started this genre and looks it is still a copy.

  • d na kelangan itanong kung gaya gaya cla.. just accept the truth na gumaya lng cla.. tsaka halata nmn eh.. wala tayo mgagawa dun

  • oh!!! i didn't know they were filipino's that surprised me 4 a min.! thats cool

  • is this sorry sorry??lol..piz!

JOKE LNG PEACE.. hehe.. :) ok nman sila.. hndi dn nila ksalanan kung katunog yan ng sorry sorry.. tga kanta lng cla.. guys.. may time pra mag improve.. go xlr8!

  • ^^ e2 nnaman tsk naiinis lang ako dami agad a...

e2 pla ung pilipino sa cnasabi ni insan...

totoo nga baduy... dapat name ng group ndi XLR8

dpat ( Groupon pacutE ) tsk tsk tsk

^^ next time paayos ok?

  • sound's so much like sorry sorry especially in the beginning.... 3-4 notes lng naiba sa original na sorry sorry.... sucks. but i like the song...

  • I kind of like this group na ... they're cute ^^ keke~ well i'm a kpop lover.. at first i don't like them .. then when i here them sing live they're talented and cute too =) i just don't like the part where they sing in tagalog .. anyway, i like them ^^ Keep it up!!

  • tama!!!!!!!!!

  • Go XLR8! Make us proud! We are rooting for you here in Canada!

  • As for Ppop, what is wrong with following a global trend?? It doesn't mean it was copied. So please, to the haters out there, have an open mind and if you don't like it just keep your opinions to yourself.

  • @PurpleFlurries88 you're right! its a global trend, this is expected! its sad though how some fellow filipinos cant learn to accept what's ours! i hope soon they'll realize how much they are bringing the country's pride down by not being at least respectful to these artists who happen to be filipinos like us!

  • @PurpleFlurries88 I so agree with purpleflurries88..We never seem to be the last to say shit about our own fellow filippinos..Dand they are good that doesn't mean they are copying other singers everyone does..If thats the style now and the trend then be it.. if your from the other channels don't watch it.. i think xlr8 got there own style loving them.. there song actually matches them hoothoot hoot and they are damn hot hot !!!

  • I am a Kpop fan for a long time too because I kinda got tired of all the OPM ballads and cover music. Now that we have Ppop, I got so excited that finally we have our own music that has a very nice beat and we can actually understand.

  • C'mon guys, give these boys a break! :-)

They're just starting. They're so talented. You should check their individual videos before they even became XLR8. With more training, better choreographer and stylist, they will definitely make it big.

As a Filipino Canadian, I feel proud of any Filipino artist being known internationally like Charice and Arnel Pineda. That's why I have so much hope for XLR8 hoping that someday they will be like them too.

  • saka parang mas bagay naman tau mag english sa kanila, official language natin yun eh hahaha!

  • Comment removed

  • well..nkkpanibago lng cguro stin..na maringi cla tapos parang kpop ung beat...

  • kadiri kayo...

  • tsk. the intro sounds like sorry sorry. and nakita ko album nila, it's also same w/ the posts of super junior in the sorry sorry album. hays, ganda sana nung song but, they should train for more years, hndi ung mukhang napick-up lng sila sa mall shows. i think they should be named as, not XLR8, but super junior fansclub. THIS IS PLAGIARISM. i don't care if you'll thumb down here, but i'm just saying what my opinion is.

  • Hai naku!!

Ang dami talagang Pilipino ang pinu-pull down ang sariling kalahi!

Kung gusto niyo original, why don't you try to supprt them para next time eh ung gusto niyo ng ORIGINAL ung gawin nila!

  • also, if you guys didn't know every entertainment do things that's what popular.. POP coloring their hair to blond is in in japan and korea. layered hair with bangs as well.. CUTE things to be exact as well..

pinas di nakukuha pa ang what is in sa asia at POP style like kpop at jpop ay isa lang na NinaNOTICE nila na sa entertainment industry ng pinas.

  • this style of pop like kpop an jpop. are very big in asia. philippines is really late in this style. i think it's okay if we try this since.. it doesn't stop kpop or jpop from doing their thing when they know there are kpop or cpop or jpop.

  • we have no pop in philippines. sarah is not pop. they say she's pop people POP is a thing to say for singers that sing songs.. But does she really sing pop. No I don't think she sings pop. Only pop I know her sing was Sa'yo. But that does not count since she sings more ballad songs. They only call her POP Princess but she does not sing pop.

  • amber davis is not pop. she's rnb.

I'm sorry, but come on! Be ORIGINAL FOR ONCE. MAYBE MORE HIGH CLASS FILIPINOS (Those who could afford these stuffs you sell and who settle for only the best) WOULD LIKE YOU THEN. This is SO STUPID.

    elitista.

  • @Chicharonization Just so your tiny brain would understand, I'll explain this to you in a way you could keep up, kay? K-Pop, J-Pop, and C-Pop are all influenced by their own cultures, too. This is nothing but just a photocopy of K-Pop. Got it? /:)

  • @aishiteruarashi i'm sorry but you are nakakahiya. sa mga sinasabi.

  • @StaRrySky I'm sorry, but could you not be so coño? Stop trying. Anyway, I don't care, because I'm ashamed of them.

  • @aishiteruarashi

You're SO STUPID.

  • /watch?v=3xtlS41Ne7c cover ko po ng for you - xlr8 , pls watch

  • and yes.. i can never get any happy energy music in tagalog other than the novalties and the wowowee songs...

  • if you guys didn't know kpop and jpop styles are the same as well as cpop.

there's nothing different about the styles and the beats.. all are fast pop dancing beats witha little rap and a little slow music.

so what if the music in pinas wants to do more pop dance music than slow ballad songs. at least there is no revivals.

  • there was never a PPOP until this group came out.

  • this is a start. there is no pop in philippines and this will actually add pop in the music industry.

it's always ballads and rock and this pop thingy is a help.

  • maygahd. katunog nga ng sorry, sorry. o.O
