  • @TheLilplayerz I don't think so. They might be a little dry but other than that it should be fine. Thanks for coming by!

  • I DO NOT EAT EGGS SO PLEASE SUGGEST SOME SUBSTITUTE OF EGGS COZ I AM AVEGETARIAN.

  • @hareramable well that sucks for you

  • @hareramable I am sorry but I can't think of a suggestion for you. Thank you for coming by.

  • The Ameicanized way is the wrong way.Crepes, pronounced KRAY pez.Not CROPES,CRAPZ.Next thing you'll know fortune cookies are a Chinese way.

  • 2:40 INTRUDER ALERT

  • 4 eggs? isnt it too much???

  • @alphavita1 Obviously not. This is a great crepe batter recipe. Thank you for stopping by.

  • @alphavita1 Actually, its not. I used 3 eggs this time and it sucked. do 4!

  • IT'S PRONOUNCED CRAPE not CREP....

  • @KATOMATE01 OK, thanks. Have a great week,

  • Comment removed

  • @pastryparrot1 No don't worry. I speak French and i can tell "Crep" is the closest pronunciation to French. Crape ? no way lol Btw i think your recipe is great because most of the recipes i've used tell you to break the eggs on the flower and then mix but it can become messy and lumpy so easily... and also if you want to do some just for dessert, you can add some fancy ingredients like vanilla sugar, bier, or rhum :) ...maybe you already know that but i'm saying just in case 4 the viewers

  • @Cdb6es Thank you! I appreciate the tips! Have a wonderful day!

  • @KATOMATE01 It is actually pronounced KREP. You are misinformed.

  • @KATOMATE01 Oh ho ho ho! Or so you /think/. Crêpe is a French word. The French do INDEED pronounce it CREP. CRAPE is the Americanize way of pronouncing it. I'm not saying she did or didn't know this beforehand, but still, it's no reason to blatantly call someone out. Stop being so ethnocentric.

  • @KATOMATE01

ummmm. no, crepe is actually the french word for it, as crepes are french. CRAPES is the non-original name for it.

  • Heyy...I'm the guy with the $2,000.00 crepe maker. I have to agree that your recipe is right on the money. i use your recipe. Works beautiful. not too crispy, not too saggy. Just right. The only change i made is to replace 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of Cointreau.

  • @formaset Awesome! Thank you very much for letting me know. Take care.

  • You should check out the Vietnamese Banh xeo

  • @DESERTHAWKIN OK, I will. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @DESERTHAWKIN You're Vietnamese?

  • @Chicochi2001 No I am Puerto Rican/Sicilian by way of Northern Virginia, where I have many Vietnamese friends.

  • I agree with formaset. Your crêpe is too thick. What distinguishes crêpes from pancakes are how paper thin they are.

  • @breneeeeeeeful Thanks for coming by. Go ahead and make your crepe as thin as you want. This batter is absolutely perfect. Have a great 2012!

  • flying kiss for your adorable dog 2:40. can't wait to make crepe using your recipe. thanks for sharing. you're awesome!!! the second 4:49 is much better

  • @crazybabes1991 Thank you! I appreciate you coming by. Have a fantastic 2012!

  • i used to make crepes until i took an arrow to the knee

  • Your crepe is TOO THICK. almost like a pancake. YES! the crepe must be paper this otherwise, it will loose its french elegance and texture not to mention a thick crepe dough will dominate the whole taste of your dish.. Crepe thickness is 3mm MAX.

  • @formaset Thank you for coming by. Enjoy your $2,000 crepe maker. Have a great week.

  • @formaset Im a Pancake and I am really offended.

  • I just happily spent 2 Grand on a crape maker. Result is far superior. Why are these appliances so expensive? Industrial appliances.

  • Yayyyy chocolate crates coming up I'm thankful

  • @toolie239 Thank you for coming by!

  • Butter can be either salted/unsalted?

do i need to refrigerate the batter prior to cook it

  • @wslee Unsalted butter and no, you do not need to refrigerate this. Thank you for coming by!

  • Butter can be either salted/unsalted?

  • i made mine 4 inch with cool whip and chocolate syrup

  • @reptileguide Great! Thanks for coming by!

  • This video helped I made good crepes

  • @MzKim38 Great! Thank you for letting me know!

  • do you have to leave it in the freezer before cooking it?

  • @JustMeLoLzxD No. You do not. This batter can be cooked immediately. Thanks for coming by!

  • @pastryparrot1 thank you very very much. but unfortunately my mother won't let me cook it . i've been craving for this for 2 weeks

  • @kay29xx You are welcome. Thank you for watching!

  • OMG you have a dog :D

  • @abbymaemae Thanks for coming by!

  • Also, how many crepes does this recipe make?

  • @rshenster This too depends on the size of your pan. If you are using a 10 inch you should get about 24 crepes.

  • How much batter should I put in the pan?

  • @rshenster Thus will depend on the size of your pan. You want enough to cover the bottom with out being thick. You might have to sacrifice the first couple. Thanks for coming by!

  • I made some crepe this morning and followed your recipe and it came out great!I did however use the mixer later on which was much easier for me since I did not have the whiskers.

As we say in french Merci beacoup!

  • @Sunflower2590 It does, huh? Thanks so much for coming by!

  • I just love the way my crepes came out for my first time thanks to you. With a little practice, I got good at flipping them and knowing when they're done. Do you have any other great simple recipes I may use?

  • @putrifiedlove Yay! I am so happy to hear this! Please visit my website. It is full of easy, delicious recipes! Have a wonderful weekend!

  • 4:34 "Put in a spoonful of batter." That's a big spoon.

  • @souperflipz Thanks for coming by! You will need to gauge the size of spoon you need according to the size of your pan. What matters is that you get enough batter in your skillet to make a thin crepe. If the spoon is smaller or larger really does not. Does that make any sense? Take care!

  • i making this for breakfast on fathers day... ;)

  • she said creps its not creps its crepes pronounced as (crapes)

  • @mapleleaf80649 It's either way. Americans tend to pronounce it crapes...but in French, it sounds more similar to Crep. I think we all know what the word is either way lol.
