I love this phone so much, I've had the same one for 3 years when I bought it. It fits everything I need. Small, fast texting, music player. Sadly, nothing last, and it's dying. I think it's just the battery since it drains when I call or receive a call. But if it's not, I'll upgrade. I'll miss it though :'(

My LG Dare went through hell!! I left it on the hood of my jeep and it flew off while I was driving, lost it for 3 days. It survived being run over probably multiple times on the road and a rain storm. That was last year and I'm still using it today.

Ive had this phone for two years I'm switching it this week getting the Droid X on Monday. But I have really like this phone. The battery is great, I could go a few days without charging it. The only con for me personally was the fact that I got kinda bored with it after the first year since theres not much to do on it if you dont have the data plan included. This is also pretty durable.. mine got into the washer... and with a new batter it still worked. Would reccomend it to those interested.

the dare, is one of the best phone's i've ever had. it doesn't have a physical keyboard, but it's fine for me. I can type pretty quick on the touch screen. It's a good phone when you want something different but easy to use.. I recommend getting this phone.

The touch screen on this phone is the most infuriating thing in the world (resistive). Not to mention the fact that it is SLOW. It lags big time. I thought it looked cool too, reviewers made it seem cool, but I was hugely disappointed. Texting experience is TERRIBLE. (Constantly misreads.) Spend more money and get something nicer, you won't regret it.

If its in your pocket and a button clicks and then it rubs against your pants it will unlock the phone, any pressure activates that damn screen ive lost so many minutes because of it

@Vinsem698 I don't believe they do. It was pretty much "replaced" with the LG Versa last year. If anything, the Versa has been replaced by another LG phone already too. While a good phone (I've had it for almost a year and a half, and also my firsts touchscreen phone), the typing/texting isn't too great. I wouldn't necessarily say it's because it's a touchscreen, but rather the technology that's behind that touchscreen. If I were you I'd look for a slightly more expensive CAPACITIVE touchscreen

@superassassin47 probally the dare. i had the rumor touch and there is a slow internet, youtube barly works, and it the texting had bad sending (sometimes didnt work....)

i have this phone. ive had it for about a year and half and i love it. the texting is awesome, it hardly ever calls people when its in my purse or pocket (its happened once or twice the whole time ive had it), i dont use the browser because i dont pay for internet on it. but the camera is awesome, the music player is too. its just a great phone. obviously id like a new phone just because theyre always coming out with better ones, but this one is great <3333

my mom has this phone ; she's had it for almost 2 years . it freezes up at times but all touchscreens do that . other than that she's had no problems with it . but ready for her upgrade ; lol ' smh .

ive had this phone since march 09 .it replaced my juke. my dad has the same phone and never had a problem. im on my 5th phone. the first one ive had the longest and it stopped vibrating and i couldnt hear calls. the second one would only charge on the computer. the next one would spazz out. the one after that the camera broke and this one has a horrible battery so ill take a picture and it goes black.ugh 6 more days left with it htough

dude my LG DARE is fast as hell and i have no problums with it i live in iowa and i get great internet and ive droped it like 5 times and it has never cracked never scrached or anything its just a great phone for me so i dont know what you people are talking about

You can't buy this phone anymore. It has so many problems, Verizon isn't selling it anymore.
The closest replacement to the LG Dare is the LG Chocolate Touch, which is actually much better.

its a good idea
but ive had mine since november
If its in your pocket and a button clicks and then it rubs against your pants it will unlock the phone, any pressure activates that damn screen ive lost so many minutes because of it
and if you text alot its not good
its a pain in the ass to text on if you dont have nails or small fingers
plus i dont know if it sjsut my phone
but i cant send text messages over 2 pages

@Vinsem698 I don't believe they do. It was pretty much "replaced" with the LG Versa last year. If anything, the Versa has been replaced by another LG phone already too. While a good phone (I've had it for almost a year and a half, and also my firsts touchscreen phone), the typing/texting isn't too great. I wouldn't necessarily say it's because it's a touchscreen, but rather the technology that's behind that touchscreen. If I were you I'd look for a slightly more expensive CAPACITIVE touchscreen
