  • @frootofaloom He probably used profanity on Mormon Christian videos.

  • Or shoot their mormon wife in the lds church parking lot in Utah county 3 years ago. So much for the you shall not kill your wife law that only ex-mormons commit. By the way why is Utah numder 1 for taking anti-depressants? Oh yea more mormons then any other religion, and the guilt they feel because they can't keep all the laws and ordinances that the church puts them under.

  • 4547 Views

  • Sounds like some of the mormons that realise they can't live up to all the laws, and ordinances of the church. It's sad they have to turn to drugs when all they have to do is turn to the real Jesus (the one who is not satans brother), and that yoke would be lifted off their shoulders.

  • @greeneyesangel69 The laws? Like don't kill your wife and hide her body and don't chop up your children and then burn them alive. That seems to be what ex- Mormons do.

  • I have no idea what this has to do with ANYTHING....

  • @weworld2 Then you should watch the video.

  • 4392 Views

  • Haha poor shmuck I hope he dies

  • @conchamolusco Luckily Mormon Christians are helping him and he is on his way to recovery.

  • @BornAgainstMormons You are evil

  • @conchamolusco Is that what the devil told you?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Yes. Yes it is.

  • You might want to think about the message you're sending here, it could be interpreted that they turn to drugs and crime to get over their past.

  • @alfiejames8 Why do you conclude that?

  • You might want to think about the message you're sending here, it could be interpreted that they turn to drugs and crime to get over their past.

  • @alfiejames8 Who would interpret that?

  • @BornAgainstMormons you show a video of an exmormon son who fell into a life of crim and drugs. You say its because he's no longer in the faith. Others could see it that he's a product of his upbringing

  • @alfiejames8 You are making things up.

  • Wow this is absolutely a farce. Yes his addiction is because his parents quit being Mormons. Maybe it's because he was taking addictive pain medication because he was injured. Does your common sense just fly out your ears when you convert to Mormonism?

  • @Apophis150 How old was he when he started using drugs? When he started using pain killers?

Sometimes it helps to ask yourself pertinent questions.

  • Even though this won't go through. This is a ridiculous video filled with propaganda. How does one hick's experience represent all these people?

  • I'm not much of a sports fan, but was just wondering why this kid is being interviewed by ESPN?

  • @SyrilRam What does ESPN stand for?

  • 3884 Views

  • I'm not sure if this is a troll channel from the name "bornAGAINSTmormons" but its always nice to look at the comments and see the extremely religious bicker.

  • @sagejosh What is a troll channel?

  • 3787 Views

  • Hmm. Channel name is "BornAgainstMormons". Can't tell if it's Poe's Law and this channel is satire, or if this guy was against Morons then changed his mind and is now doing a very poor job at defending it?

  • @Velox415 Thanks for the religious slur.

  • I found the video very persuasive. I was persuaded that anecdotes still count as strong evidence for some Mormon apologists.

  • @iqlusionblogspot Hopefully ex- Mormons learn and know about what will happen to their children.

  • @BornAgainstMormons

As a rule, Ex-Mormons value evidence and know the difference between anecdotes and evidence. Virtually every member of the church knows some kid who was raised in a great LDS family who went off the deep end and messed her/his life up. But such anecdotes aren't evidence that Mormonism causes youth to self-destroy.

  • @iqlusionblogspot You make up rules.

  • Seriously? Does this happen to every child of ex-Mormons? They just drown their pain in drugs and alcohol until they can't do anything? And what about the rest of us? We gotta be even worse! Is there truly no hope?

  • @FrankLightheart Ask the children of Steve Benson.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Who is Steve Benson?

  • @FrankLightheart Infamous ex Mormon who claimed when he tantrumly left the Mormon Christian religion that his children would do so much better. Erik Ainge and Steve Benson's children now have much in common.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Never heard of any of them. Guess I'd have to be a Mormon or something.

I think really my only point about this video is hinting at the ridiculous notion that the LDS Church is the only safe haven from this hurricane of drugs and sex and booze that is the rest of the world. I can safely say that my life is nothing like that.

...Unless the idea is that this guy was suffering from Mormon withdraw or something like that.

  • @FrankLightheart I don't know about the only place. But it is a safe place.

  • That's absurd. One drug addict as proof that all ex-mormons turn bad?? I've seen an insane woman yesterday. Does it mean all women are insane?

Besides, if there were more problems amongst "ex-mormons" than in general population, it would be more a proof that having been a mormon is so traumatic that those who manage to get out never fully recover.

Atheists have the best records on drugs, violence, and children education, by the way.

  • @VincentPhil You pretend like denial is a river in Egypt.

  • @BornAgainstMormons ??? What does that even mean?

Listen, i'm glad you like your religion and all, but spreading false rumors about how those who get out suffer ill fate make it seem like a cult, of which you are intimated not to get out.

  • @VincentPhil What did Erik Ainge say that wasn't true? Who was there to help the child of an ex- Mormon with his ex- Mormon problems? An ex- Mormon or a Mormon Christian?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Erik Ainge said nothing untrue, you did. By implying his story is representative of ex-mormons in general, you spell out at best an unsupported statement, at worst an outright lie.

And by the way, I don't see him being helped by a mormon here, I see him being exploited by a mormon to promote an agenda.

  • @VincentPhil Erik Ainge isn't an ex- Mormon.

  • 3168 Views.

  • This is video is absolutely ridiculous.

  • @ToadsMGodes Nope.

  • Hello BornAgainstMormons -

You requested to add me; it seems you're working for a noble ideal. To say I'm abrasive would be an understatement & as such, I'm going to decline. I will not allow potential detractors to use me to attack you in a flawed attempt to highlight you "condoning" my methods. Guilt by association & all that.

    All the best.

  • The mormons i meet on youtube all seem to be extremely angry at ex-mormons for exposing the lunacy of the church. It's clear that MORMON LOVE IS CONDITIONAL LOVE.

  • @HENRYPATRICK1736 Nonsense.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Thats all you can really say nonsense. because you really cant back it up.You will never be considered christian. Your corrupt leaders are pedophiles and they judge people. Youre nothing more than a brain washed mormon, reply with something other than nonsense so I can school you on what the truth really is. Otherwise dont bother replying

  • @FallenSkorm Nonsense is all I need to say when it applies.

  • @BornAgainstMormons You're pathetic. Guess what I did to A mormon yesterday? I beat the hell out of him. You dont come into a mans house insult his way of life by saying it isnt true, then get mad at me for saying tht they believe in nonsense and try to attack me. I got under their skin so much that two stupid "elders" went at me. I could of killed them if i wanted under the theory of self defense. I didnt, i beat them senseless and called the cops.it felt good

  • @FallenSkorm You come off as lonely and swallowed in sin.

  • 2493 Views.

  • @FallenSkorm actually Mormon Christians are some of the finest Christians. Your comment is nonsense.

  • Wow... are you kidding me? His addiction problems could have happened no matter if he was religious or not.

The whole point of this video is to portray Atheists as alcoholic druggies, which is nothing but flat out bigotry on the part of whoever made this video.

Some of the smartest, happiest most peaceful people in the world are Atheists. And that's not to say religious people aren't smart, peaceful or happy either. The only difference is some people believe fairy tales, the Atheists don't.

  • @ducttape82 His family members that didn't leave the Mormon Christian faith didn't have the same addiction problems. But these Mormon Christian family members are the ones taking him in when his ex-Mormon mentality puts him at rock bottom.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Or perhaps his addiction problems are completely unrelated to his religious beliefs. There's plenty of deeply religious people in jail, or with drinking and drug problems. Likewise, there's plenty of Atheists who have no substance abuse problems and live a completely law abiding life.

It's not an ex-mormon mentality that got that guy in trouble, a lack of self control did. Hopefully he recovers well from his addictions. But the video is still pure bigotry

  • @ducttape82 Two families. One Mormon Christian, the other rejects the Mormon Christian faith. One set up children end up addicted and experimenting with drugs the other doesn't. The video shows which family did which.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Ok, and the premise of the video is that this is a common occurrence. The point is, this guys addiction had nothing to do with his religious beliefs. Trying to connect the two is ridiculous. Especially when they can pick and choose two people for the video, and ignore the fact that most ex-mormons go on to happy productive lives.

It tries to paint people who leave your church as addicts. It's disgusting, misleading and bigoted. Just like your church

  • @ducttape82 I don't think you know what a premise is.

  • @BornAgainstMormons And I think you're horrible at trying to defend a point. But I will take your complete unwillingness to defend the video as an admission of what I said to be true.

  • @ducttape82 convenient stance.

  • @ducttape82 Well said!

  • @ToadsMGodes You tell them.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Do you know who I am?

  • @ToadsMGodes Online, anyone you want to be.

  • @BornAgainstMormons I'm retarded.

  • @ToadsMGodes Why?

  • @BornAgainstMormons I have no idea what comment of mine you are replying too, because you erase everyone's comments.. What are you afraid of my friend?

  • @ToadsMGodes You make things up.

  • @ducttape82 You're correct, addiction knows no bounds. Even religion can become an addiction problem. I see most of these ex-mormon stories not as a turn to atheism but a rejection of mormonism, most don't seem to address the existence question. We may have seen different stories. Either way good to see them escape the cult.

  • @HENRYPATRICK1736 We know full well addiction is high among anti and ex Mormons.

  • @ducttape82 A man once said "With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

  • How come Utah have such high porn-use?... leading in america porn-search online every day, except on sunday.....

How can Utah be the most depressed state? (cases of depression)

    One word - Mormonism

Other scary facts about Utah? search for "Scary Facts about Utah" on youtube

  • @testskriftene Utah has the highest rate of anti- Mormons. Other places where there are large concentrations of Mormon Christians but low concentrations of anti- Mormons, they don't have the high porn use or the depression. I hope that helps.

  • @testskriftene Thank you for watching my videos. From what I can tell you have added thousands and thousands of views. Merry Christmas.

  • No other explanation for this person's addictions huh? It's because he decided at 11 years old to become an ex mormon. LOL! Where were his fellow mormons helping him at 11 years old when he became a drug user?

Also when did this person actually DECIDE to BECOME a mormon? He as forced by his family to join. Don't fool yourself. If they weren't born into the cult and indoctrinated by family, few people would actually CHOOSE to become mormons.

    Mormonism is a cult.

  • @HENRYPATRICK1736 I think you missed a lot of key facts. Burying your head won't get you far in life.

  • No other explanation for this person's addictions huh? It's because he decided at 11 years old to become an ex mormon. LOL! Where were his fellow mormons helping him at 11 years old when he became a drug user?

    Mormonism is a cult.

  • @HENRYPATRICK1736 Whatever you do, do not blame the ex- Mormon parents who forsook the good and made this young man a child of ex- Mormons.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Sure, the parents are a factor in this. They were raised in the cult of mormonism so undoubtedly they carried a load of bigotry and shame. Who knows if they received the proper counseling after they left the cult/church. Drug addiction sucks but at least this kid escaped life in a cult. His parents are heroes.

  • @HENRYPATRICK1736 Once again, the family that raised their children in the Mormon Christian faith end up helping the family that rejected it. As this video depicts.

  • Comments pending approval sucks,BornAgainstMormons, I am mormon, and so on,. It seems allot of mormon sites cancel ratings and censor comments, why? I see many other sites that people are allowed to comment and disagree. Mormons must be scarred of debate, and others opinions. Mormon superiority complexes, and mormon's one way conversations are the reason I and others have a bad attitude toward their "faith". Oh, and their church founders had 14-15 and 16 year old wives! Refined. no pending.

  • @superlativeOFgood You aren't being honest.

  • Now I'm going to post the last comment everywhere on youtube that non-mormons congregate. I will give you credit, don't worry. In short STFU! Pend that approval.

  • @superlativeOFgood You come off as angry.

  • if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all...come on guys forget ripping on the mormons and join the mormon helping hands and help stop poverty and hunger...all I can say is when I lived in Samoa it was the Mormons who were there first giving their time and goods, God bless all Good people of ALL faiths and nonfaiths...now just be nice to everyone!!! funny how you never see mormons rip on others why don't we all just be kind?????

  • @sanniesala Then why do mormons here on youtube call me an atheist (i'm a Catholic) when i try to discuss religion with them?

  • The reason is because the ex mormons are excomunicated because of not folowing the laws of the church then they get there kids into it

  • I agree that it's not always nice when you leave mormonism.

Your spouse can divorce you and ensure you don't get to see your children. If you live in a mormon area, they will do it with the collaboration of the authorities. You may lose your job, and your family may reject you.

That is the "love" demonstrated towards those who choose their own path, sometimes. But sometimes family comes around and there are a lot of people waiting for you on the side of liberty who will love the real you!

  • @LynxChan Maybe you shouldn't abuse your spouse and children?

  • @BornAgainstMormons is your implication that people who deconvert are all abusive? That people who are exiled by their families, divorced by their spouses and their children denied to them purely for leaving the faith are all just abusive? I must be missinterpreting you, you can't possibly be that bigoted...?

  • @LynxChan " they will do it with the collaboration of the authorities. You may lose your job, and your family may reject you." Lose your job!?!?! C'mon seriously.

  • Don't hate mormons. Hate all churches and religions. There is no God. No point to argue about who is right. Let go and free your mind from that dribble. <3

  • We love you ex-mormons

  • I find it funny how you people say that your churches teach God's true gospel. How you say your all right and were all wrong. But you wanna know what I say? At least we don't have to drone on someone else's religion because we don't understand it it nor care to. Love thy neighbor...guess that's one commandment your breaking.

  • @Specimin6 We don't or try not to say that others are wrong. There are many many truths in other religions. Truths that we try and embrace. We love truth and try and embrace it.

  • "When people say that young adults can't control their sexual urges, to me that's actually rather offensive that I can't control myself, because I know I can," said Claire, who is a Lutheran.

  • when you worship other people or concepts created by other people-it's no wonder it doesnt match nature-the only truth you will find is in raw reality-insects recognize biological imperitives as their edict-but man,the supposedly smarter creature-gets blindfolded by it's own kind-and not only recognizes false principles-but denies natural ones.this is no good

  • @vagilepsilosybe I think you need at least three more periods.

  • it's seems like everyone's reacting to "what doesn't jive" and thing is nature and physics are as infinitely accommodating as they are concrete-and when apes with ideas and not a whole lot of insight speculate on the way of things(to play without listening) problems arise-then they try to rationalize the picture before them by fitting it into their limited view(not expanding the old one)-then they apply it through another filter-the lives of other petty people-with no more capacity than you...

  • @daubdaubhorrorflick What doesn't jive?

  • @TubeNumber1USA

You still have not shown how the Gospel you believe in differs from that which LDS believe in... other then you flat out denying the words of Christ in the bible...

I won't even respond to 1stcorinthians. the guy below

  • @TheSkepticChristian I find him to be very interesting. It is as if he lives in a completely detached world.

  • Being raised in the (Mormon) church left him unable to deal with reality. It's worse for kids raised Amish.

  • @CamdenBloke Actually he was never a Mormon Christian. Which means that you proved my point. Thank you.

  • Mormonism is a Satanic Trap, that goes nearly 180 degrees opposite of the Bible on most doctrines.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18 Mormonism is not Satanic, I think your videos are Satanic.

    We believe in Jesus.

    You believe in Plato's god

  • @TheSkepticChristian I believe in the only God that exists, the God of the Bible, Who knows of no other real God that exists, Isaiah 43:10,11 44:6-8. Mormonism believes in idol gods that do not exist, that they have fashioned in the likeness of men Romans 1:22,23. The devils know there is one God, and they believe in Him and tremble, James 2:19. The demons that Jesus cast out of people, spoke much more truth about Who Jesus is, than Mormonism ever has.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

You bind your god to a book. Why is that?

  • @Sk8er408 God is not bound to a book, or to anything else. The Bible is His word to man though, and is totally trustworthy. There is only one book on this planet that God Himself has caused to be written, and that is the Bible. Interestingly the Bible is without any question the very most printed book on this planet. God is an Omipresent, Omipotent, Omniscient Spirit being John 4:24 Psalm 139 Jeremiah 23:23,24 etc.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

You just bond him to one book again saying that there is only one... But if you read the bible it is clear that it is not complete... and filled with errors... this is not God's fault this is mans fault.

Gods word to man comes by way of the Comforter... even the Bible agrees with that.

  • @Sk8er408 I have read the Bible over a dozen times, if you think it is incomplete or full of errors, I would love to see some examples of how you think this is so. Jesus continually quoted directly from the Bible, and indicated that there would not be any part of the word of God that would pass away, until all of it was fulfilled. The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth, but Jesus Himself said that the word of God is truth. He also declared that He Himself is the truth John 14:6.

  • @Sk8er408 Sorry, I did not notice U were giving several comments at a time directed at me. If U want 2 assume the Bible contradicts itself there R areas U can make look that way. Judas hung himself Matthew 27:5 then later fell down or was cut down, maybe after bloating & his insides came out Acts 1:18. He threw the money down in the temple, the priests used it 2 purchase the potters field. It was bought with Judas' money. As 4 the other books Jesus did not say they should have been in the Bible.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

One says he hung himself the other fell head long. if U R cut down U dont fall head first. 1 says Judas bought the field the other the priest. both are different entirely. Seems 1 or the other did not have all the facts.

As for the other Books. Jesus did not say any of the NT or OT should be in the Bible. UR logic baffles me as the bible did not exist until well after Jesus was dead & was not put together because of his direction but because of rulers like king james.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18 As 4 the other books Jesus did not say they should have been in the Bible.

They quoted them but they are not good enough to be entirely used... So why quote them or mention them?

  • @Sk8er408 The apostle Paul quoted pagan poets, trying 2 convince pagans of the only real God. The other books or prophets referred 2 in the Bible that R not contained in the Bible, R given the relevance they should have. The Bible is the word of God entirely, some of these referenced books may have contained good history, or even a message from God, but apparently were not entirely the word of God. The Catholic Bible has extra books, some of them R decent history, none of them R the word of God.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

The bible is not the word of God entirely... You are binding your god to a work of man.. you are making that work an idol...

Your logic is not really logic but tradition... Jesus rebuked the Jews for their tradition. I'm sure the mainstream Christians will get rebuked for theirs too.

  • @Sk8er408 You would not be in agreemen with Jesus then, Who believed that it was. You would be in agreement with the serpent though in Genesis 3:1 who was trying to challenge the word of God. The Bible was written by men, but God was the one guiding them 2 Timothy 3:15,16. Jesus asked in Matthew 22:31 "...have you not read that which was spoken to you by God..." Jesus plainly taught and believed that the word of God was written and could be read.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

You accusation is unfounded. but i guess your faith is also. you just put all your faith in your opinion.

Why am i not in agreement with Jesus?

Those verses R not talking about the bible as it did not exist. Are you really that much of a dullard to nut understand that? He is talking about all the scriptures. including the ones we know about but don't have. I guess you believe that God is a respecter of men to save all this dealings with us. Why would you need faith?

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18 What about these missing scriptures hinted to. poken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene, Matt. 2:23 If the Bible is complete then this would be found in the OT. I wrote unto you in an epistle, 1 Cor. 5:9 Where is the epistle that came before? as I wrote afore in few words, Eph. 3:3 Again… where is the first one? read the epistle from Laodicea, Col. 4:16 Where is this epistle? Enoch also … prophesied of these, Jude 1:14 Where are his writings?
  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

Errors... I'll just ask how did Judas die and who bought the potters field?

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

You error is thinking the word of God = the Bible. You are making the bible an idol. You are making it equal to or even above your god.

  • @Sk8er408 I noticed that you gave no examples of how you think the Bible is incomplete or in error. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is God Isaiah 43:10,11 John 1:1-3,14, the Bible actually calls Jesus, Who is God, the Word. All that exists came into existence at the spoken Word of God. When Jesus was tempted by Satan, He always responded with "it is written" and then quoting the written word of God, the Bible. The Bible is not God, but it is His written word.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

So you skipped all the missing stuff to focus on what you think i missed... You like to sweep things under the carpet if they do not agree with your opinion huh?

Here i'll quote from below so you know that i at least gave you one example of the errors found in the bible.

"Errors... I'll just ask how did Judas die and who bought the potters field?"

So go ahead and dismiss the dozen or so missing books this is typical as you have no answer for them or anything else.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

The books that are noted are not pagan but scripture... nice try thought.

  • @Sk8er408 I never said those books were pagan. Some of them may have even contained a partial message from God, but none of them were Scripture. Scripture is entirely the word of God.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

Who judge them to not be scripture?

  • @Sk8er408 History itself 4-1Ifthey were scripture, God would have made sure they were a part of the Bible. Jesus gave no indication that there was anything missing from the word of God, & He quoted from the writings of Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah etc. as the word of God. He talked about all of the law & the prophets pointing 2 Himself. The whole current Old Testament of the Bible does point to Him. Even the New Testament was not supposed 2 B accepted, unless it agreed with the Old Acts 17:11.

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18

No... God would not make sure they were part of the bible... He is not a respecter of men. But you deny the parts that are talked about that do not have corresponding books... YOu justify this with fairytale assumptions.

  • @Sk8er408 Well if U can find these other books & want to read them, go 4 it. I believe if you can find them and do read them, you will find that there are things which do not add up with what is known to be the word of God in the Bible. I have read the extra books in the Catholic Bible, some of them contain some good history, none of them are the word of God though. The Book of Mormon is certainly not the word of God either, it is fiction with 25 chapters plagiarized from the KJV Bible mixed in.
