  • wtf i dont see whats so difficult or nice about this shot

  • @thamade well you havent played snooker..

  • @thamade can you do that?

  • @6223086 i play snooker and am a lefty, this is a great shot but its very doable, when playing most days when the other player is setting up the balls, put white next to brown, and try get the white behind bulk line from hitting otherside of middle pocket, good timing with bottom side enough cuepower to get the arch. i know i can do it, prob first time on good days, but out of 10 id say 3 4 at most, cant hit a ball that clean with that accuracy every time, unless ur neil judd ronnie selby etc

  • is crazy

  • craaaaaaaazy XD

  • check out that cue power... I blinked and I had to play it again because it happens so fast

  • why didnt he go for the pink?

  • @cheeksneek because after the pink, he cant stay for the red

  • @cheeksneek Frame would go anyway to robertson, so he wanted to show skills =)

  • this shot is very similar to the one alex higgins played against jimmy white in 1982 wsc final. diffrence was higgins was able to continue the break. great shot by both the players. But higgins was better on the context that if he had missed he wud have been knocked out. he went on to win the championship

  • that is insane..alex higgins played a shot like that but that was phenomenal.

  • Cheak Out My New Snooker Videos Of Me!

  • It's not that great, he didn't get position on the red.

    I JEST.

  • I've seen Alex Higgins play the exact same shot. Amazing.

  • My favourite players of all time, are still Jimmy White and Ronnie O'Sullivan. But that has got to be one of the ALL TIME best shots I have ever seen!! Bottom Right hand side on the cue ball, huge pot, perfectly placed for the next shot.... unbelievable!!!

  • @harpersneil Well, he was trying to develop the red, just didn't quite have enough on it. But still, freaking spectacular.

  • @HockeyFan7374 I am willing to side bet you 1000 pounds to see if you can do that exact same shot

  • @ZhangTG The shot isn't hard, but where he made the ball end up was difficult. Its bottom side english, and I wouldn't bet money against HockeyFan7374 not being able to do it.

  • @ZhangTG ur right. i cant. i dont own a pool table and probably never will. i like pool, im just not a pool fanatic.

  • scientist are going to have to rewrite physics now!

  • @ HockeyFan7374

That's probably why you are a hockey fan instead of a snooker fan..

  • @reramtash i wouldnt be talking. at least im a fan of a REAL sport.

  • ur prolly gonna say " f*** u" and" ur retarded" but i dont get wats so special. he just pocketed a ball.

  • @HockeyFan7374 It was the sheer power he has on the cue which is something a lot of players don't have, as well as his skill. Don't criticise the game if you dont know anything about it.

  • @sara1901 ohhhhh shit! he can hit a ball hard! cuz its not like anyone else could ever do that. and see? i WAS right. u critisize me for sharing my opinion.

  • @HockeyFan7374 Dude, get over yourself. You're being incredibly immature. If you don't get what's so special about this shot then don't comment on it.

  • @HockeyFan7374

Last time I checked forward motion didn't turn into backward motion by itself.

  • @OsirisGOLAD Hitting a ball against a rail? lol

  • @kevinkenny3 The ball goes up the table and back down, doesn't it? I'd say that requires screw and a not so light touch of right-hand side. :-X Try to do it, it's not easy to pot the blue and get the white back as well.

  • @HockeyFan7374 ...u dont appreciate it coz u dont know the game. but thats ok. it wasnt just the pot, it was the spin he put on the white to get it to go down the path it did, it really was quite a mad shot...

  • You can't really compare Neil's "zinger" shot to Alex's. Alex was almost out of the tournament and had to make the shot. Neil had already won the frame so there was no pressure. Alex's shot was better.

  • I would

  • He wants to play the canon on the black

  • A so called ''zinger shot''

Lets recall World Snooker Championship 1982 Alex Higgins sensational 69 break against Jimmy White when the score was 14:15 in frames for Jimmy and he was leading the 30th frame 59:0

Alex made ''zinger shot'' on a blue ball. 26 years later Neil Robertson repeats that shot facing a very similar position only this time opposite corner pocket and of course different circumstances.

    Outstanding performance

  • oh yeah i watched that blue and seemed to recall a similar shot on old of those vintage 80s clip. turned out it was the hurricane at work

  • neil actually played the shot even better than alex, as he was significantly further away from the blue and got more on it. Although I suppose that has a lot to do with the faster cloths these days....

  • i can do that shot easily... IN MY DREAMS LOL

  • Amazing??? more than amazing !

  • wow

  • Neil is the best of these strikes. :)

  • Neil's a real powerhouse

  • its fking amazing

  • hes fukin crazy

    nice shottttt

  • That was an amazing shot on the blue, but if he wanted to continue the break, the pink with some inside english may have been the better choice. It would have left a steep cut shot on the last red, but at least it's a viable shot.

  • this was some kind of shot not just potting the blue, but the reaction on the cue ball to try and get position for the last red, one of the best i've seen

  • where did that blue ball go?

  • into the top left pocket

  • Big Deal

  • Comment removed

  • great shot!i tink i saw alex higgins doing this shot before :O

  • trying to impress the babe ref obviously

  • who wouldn't?

  • That is one of the best pots i've seen in snooker, remember watching this on the tv. Very good :)

  • Comment removed

  • where the fuck that blue goes?? which hole??

  • Top left.

  • the worm hole! it was traveling so fast that it actually ripped the fabric of space-time and materialised eons into the future!!! :)

  • noob get your eyes sorted, it went in the top left

  • what a shot!

  • LOLLL thats was like a gun shot !!

  • Had he succeded to put the red one into the pocket too would've been to much ^_^...great shot! and great reaction as well, fun to watch.

  • awesomee!!!

  • fantastic player

  • I love O´sullivan, but Neil is hell of a dangerous and talented player!

  • You should be trying anything different from messing around here. It´s kinda boring!

  • Actually Roflaids, hes paying Robertson a compliment by comparing him to O'Sullivan. BTW what right do you have to tell him to die, as well as his family? You're just a stupid bigheaded prick who has no common decency.

  • get fucked you fucking retard

  • fantastic shot, if i wouldnt have seen this i would say it is not possible. very very powerful backspin

  • with great right spin as well~ its aweful shot~

  • thats the craziest spin i have ever seen on a ball

  • Your trying to compare Alex Higgins to Neil Robertson? Are you completely thick??

  • why would that be thick, compairing 1 of the best players from the day to one of the best players now?? higgins was a super player, but i think people mistake the standard of todays snooker. higgins finished a ledgend as will robertson, my personal opinion ill have my money on robertson as i have never played some1 who never misses like him :z

  • looks like i already replyed 3months ago with a simula comment haha

  • it was more like 4 inches.

  • that take unbelievable cueing, he's part of a very select few with the kind of power and control of screw that that kind of shot takes. anyone remember jimmy white a few years back screwing the full length of the table on a pink and landing about an inch away from the black?

  • Yes, it was a very-very great shot, if I watch that shot, I watch min. 5 times, so beautiful... :)

  • @nrbii Robertson's got competition now tho :P Judd Trump lol

  • Anyone that knows anything about snooker would admit this shot is mindblowing regardless of the situation

  • rofliads, alex higgins is nothing on robertson, and it was a simlua shot thats all people are sayin so mate....u stfu you idiot, btw ur right with what u say apart from its utta crap no way

  • how is it 'utter crap'? it was a very good shot, regardless of the situation. and why is he a prick? he didnt do anything, he just potted a couple balls when the frame was over. your two comments contradict each other, of course he didnt care about continuing the break because he was way ahead, making your second point null and void. note that i said ahead, not behind. thanks.

  • thats an insult compairing robertson to higgins as robertson is alot better!!, roflaid regardless of the situation that shot is fuckin amazing, coming from a pro!!

  • carm down child!! do not try and teach a snooker player something about snooker tyvm. higgins won 2worlds in them days yes!! so would of i them days as ive had 13maximuns in comp, but being 2009 im not even in the top 96! i dont no what makes you so stupid but it really works!! robertson has won now as of yet he aint retired!! but he has made more centry's then alex already you fuckin donkey wank face moron!!! you wanna autograph?

  • it seems you go on here to piss people off, ive seen you post on a few snooker vids as well as this one, although i do agree, alex higgins was sooo much better than stupid aussie robertson

  • bellend im looking forward to ur reply, as your a snooker wanna be and i get paid for the priv :P:P:P:P:P:P:P tell me im lyin plzzzz :)

  • Ive seen you comment on quite a few snooker videos now and you always seem to have derogative things to say about players. It was an exhibition shot just for fun why the hostility? Having people think that what you have done is amazing does not make you a prick, that would be beyond your control. You're a hostile ad bitter person.

  • Hear, hear york. Neil has a hell of a lot of cue power. He knew the red wouldn't go (to that pocket) so I can only assume that he wanted to disturb it (by getting deeper screw or perhaps a little more side). Still an awesome attempt from one of the most entertaining players on the circuit. Some people should just STFU.

  • yeah reminds me of alex higgins blue pot aswell the only difference being robertson had nothing to play for here

  • reminds me of alex higgins the way he floated the blue in.

  • Couldn't have agreed more with you there mate!

  • Classic Higgins, yes.

  • superb shot

  • yes, neil robertson is blessed with wonderful cue power. played a little shot like that myself, need to play bottom and right hand-side on the cue ball.

  • It was a banana shot absolutely brilliant
