My goodness. I've never heard Dionne's version. She sings it with such beauty and sultriness. So much feeling - can feel the desire, the relief, the joy. I can't believe how she sings this. From 1:37 to 1:45, oh, so gorgeous.
Nobody's voice can put me at ease like this lady can. She is just a wonderful sound to my ears and i just melt/slip into another world when i hear her.
Dionne was the classy, slender, black syren on the TV singing as the supreme seductress of our hearts. I remember as a very young boy seeing her on the TV for the first time in 1964. She had on a long gown, long gloves, and a presence that was both sensual and elegant. She was a living fantasy, a smoldering fragrance that entered ones nostrils and swiftly conquered both head and heart. She has always been my favorite female artist. Still have a crush on her, with Dionne it is always 1964.

Has anybody heard Dione's version of "One Less Bell to Answer"? Try to who ever loves this one... an epic quality, unforgettable...

While I adore Dusty and even her version of Look of Love, for me, Dionne's is the more sensual while intense almost at the same time.

@giannivee1 what a sweet and moving tribute to Dionne- a true Diva that these modern day imposters need to study! Your comments are a blessing.
