  • Noooo!

  • it's a little tougher with your region's bios, in the US version you listen for a "boom" and swap it and the rest is identical to what you did

  • fahaha

  • I heard this trick puts strain on the motor. I may try it anyway. Do you know where is a good place to get Japanese saturn roms?

  • @burningranger01 it does just like doing it in ps1 consoles. if u know what to look for u can stop that from happening. if it takes longer to load like 3-5 mins of say thrill kill (good example) then stop it immediately. should only take 15-25 seconds normally.

  • i found this game in a bargain bin for 5 bux

  • saturn bomberman is one of the best bombermans ever made.

  • I love ssb fight much

  • Excellent video. Thanks for sharing this trick.

  • thanks, I couldn't get the other videos swap sequence to work, but i did yours, and it worked first try :)

  • Your Sega saturn is black?

  • @Nedlemouse

yes, I think it is the 2ng gen model, if that matters, the games used were myst and dragonforce(burned)

  • Thanks dude!

  • @nismoz31turbo the black saturn are the European (PAL) version, Japanese ones are white, the first version of japanese Saturn is with BLUE buttons (reset etc) the second (in this video, and mine too) is with PINK buttons

  • @Nedlemouse is racist!

  • wait does thi work on the model 2 US version? also can you burn the disc images normally or do you need to burn them?

  • super! it works. thanks!

  • Are you resetting it after swapping in the original? If so, how does that work/help?

  • fortunately I've got a saturn with mod chip.

By the way, nice game: SATURN BOMBERMAN!!!

  • hey dude do you know where i can buy a pre modded saturn or know someone that can mod a model one saturn, i would appreciate any info.

  • Great, man. It's way easier than the usual swap trick that we see around.

  • Woot.

    IT WORKS!MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

    Well,thank you very very much(^_^)

  • is V.Saturn!

  • u got ur ds lite sitin on the table too huh?

  • yes, this works all all models of Saturn, you just need to do the mod to allow you to keep the CD door open while the disc spins, which is quite easy and can be found on Google.

You just open it up and tape a little piece that has a moving lever to the piece its mounted to so that it doesn't move, and that's it.

  • This is a Japan V-Saturn model. Does it also work on American models?

  • UH BITCH UH UH WUT WUT!!?!?!?!?!?

Sorry... I've been fucking with the Swap Trick for the past couple of hours, then I found your video, and it worked on the first try, playing NiGHTS now, Yipee!!!

Good god though... do all the RF cables make it look this fuzzy or is mine messed up?

  • The RF cables are garbage. Get the RCA composite cables (Yellow, White, Red).

  • John845: the Composite cables are also garbage compared to what the Saturn can put out! Get an RGB SCART cable if you're in Europe or Japan or S-Video as a second best if you're in the States!

  • this is tha better way... it works way better than tha swap trick posted everywhere else.... it doesnt take many tries for it too work... just one...

  • can i play pal and jap games using the swap method??

  • yes, you must patch the isos

  • Dude! Thanks, it worked for my cd-r!

I had to really watch your timing to get it right.

I have a model 2 US Saturn, by the way.

  • wait his grey version of the swap worked on your black saturn?

  • You're too cool :3

  • how did you get a v-saturn

  • Hmm. This is just a longwinded version of the single swap...

    1. Have CDR in place

    2. Slow, fast < on fast swap with original disc

    3. Wait for it to slow down then speed up < swap with copy

    4. Watch it load

... How is this the 'correct way' then?

  • that way doesn't work on mine, but his way does...

    go figure

  • Works fine for me...Thank you Josh...

  • Oh. I didn't know about this method... I'm gonna give it a try on my PAL Model 2 Saturn and report back...

  • Lawl? U're using an Atari monitor? how coool!

  • V saturn has the vcd card built in plus mod chip

  • Havent seen a v saturn since 97... I use to have the White one .

  • Es un buen truco, pero esto a la larga daña el lector de la consola, una de las formas de prevenir esto es cambiar el cd con rapidez, si lo haces lentamente fuerzas a la lente y esta terminará estropeandose.

  • The hell kind of sega saturn is that? all of mine are black...

  • That would be a Japanese Saturn.

  • the saturn plays backups without mod or swapping

  • Eh? I haven't heard of this yet. Did someone crack the cd protection finally?

  • thanks.

  • Awesome!! i actually got radiant silvergun to boot using this method, thanks a million!! :D

  • question woundering if i have a US sega saturn & a burned import game(s) could i still do this. or do I need a mod chip or action replay 4 in 1

  • hi, questions...do you swap with a real copy of any game, or is it swap magic? is it possible to use this swap technique with any system?? Im assuming that this techniques replaces the mod chip ...?

  • Does this work for the Model 1 Jap Saturn version?
