I have been looking online for prices of slip rings but cannot find anything. How much did you pay for the one used in this project? Also could you please tell me the supplier and the part number. Thanks in advance. Keep up the great work! Cheers
I guess that makes sense. But if you have the center hole on the rockler, why not simply route all the wires through that to the body? Why is a slip ring and slip ring and where is it doing its' slipping?

The slip ring basically allows the dome to rotate 360 degrees without twisting any wires... it can spin and spin and spin and never need to "unwind".
