Interesting to hear a falsetto voice singing Schubert. He does it well, but it seems somewhat suppressed; maybe because he doesn' t open his mouth a bit more to free up the sound!?
Initially i wanted him to open his mouth but then i thought he is singing a meditation, with lots of feeling, not a noisy operatic aria. He would open his mouth wide if he had to. Beautifully sung!
He's got a voice of great depth and expressivity. His is one of the few countertenors timbres that can compete with the contraltos, for it has just as much warmth and roundness of tone.
