  • Oi Va Voi means in judish and hebrew "Oh My God"

  • Recent translation from a National Security Agency clandestine tape: " ... Oy Va Voy? what is that some kind of code? .. quick call the CIA ...maybe they know something about space men ..."

  • oi vavoi is jiddish and means : good grcious, oh god! meine Güte,

  • it is a bit soviet-looking, and "yuri" is an obvious reference to the first man in space, yuri gagarin, who was launched by the soviet union.

Except he looks more like the yuri from red alert.

  • The first Russian radio translation:

"This is Moscow speaking, all radio transmitters in the soviet union are broadcasting. we have received news from the state news agency Tass about the world's first flight of man in space."

    And the last Russian translation:

"The cosmonaut pilot of the space ship Sputnik Vostok is the citizen of the Soviet Union of Socialist Respublics, pilot Major Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin."

    _____stenchy2 writed that you dumbfuck

    cartaiggenica...

  • i'm looking for the russian text of the radio communicate at the beginning, does anyone know that?

  • gooood song

  • does anyone know what oi va voi means?

  • it mean something like "oh dear" or "oh no, looks bad" ...

    its in hebrew.

  • It's Yiddish... A Jewish language originating in Eastern Europe pre WW2. It's said the way we'd say "oh my god" but its an expression of disbelief or when you're having trouble coming to terms with something you are hearing or seeing. Kinda like "oh my god", "i don't believe it" & "WOW!" all in one. Yiddish is quite expressive that way. Other Yiddish Terms you may have heard, most likely from the jewish influence in hollywood are Shmooze, Khootzbah, Stoop, Shlep, Shmuck, Shloof. hope that helps.

  • its biblical hebrew not yidish, from the book of Mishlei: "lemi oi lemi avoi, medonim"

  • its the sae as "oh gosh no" or "oh dear.."

and can be used as "just you dare.."

  • That bit at the beginning is in a manu chau song what is it ?

  • Belsona kaj kreema odo al la rusa socio.

  • Great video! love the slow-mo space walking!
