This is not a good Drum Corps, yeah sure cool show. But really, snares are not clean, bass splits are good, lines are not straight, and color guard is not on all the time. Also, tenors are cool.

former USAF DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS~ PIPE BAND DRUM EXPERT who performed for Presidents in the United States Air Force Band, Bolling AFB, WASHINGTON D.C. in the 1960's. they suck bad. Visuals aren't clean or together for that matter. Stick hieght is all over the place. Marching isn't all there or together. And just as a matter of opinion without the tenors, is feels like there's something missing. These guys have nothing on BD or any of the top DCI corps.

And then they somehow squeeze time for practice into their lives and tour the world. The Scots at their annual tattoo love them and that's an extremely spoiled audience up there. They're used to good stuff. You're really comparing college kids and high schoolers who have a lot more time with these guys? Seriously?

Although the presentation is cool, they are not very clean. 1978 Santa Clara Vanguard was even better. If you want to see a great drum line check out the Blue Devils,

@jonrskelton1962 it might be the way that their drums are tuned that make it sound not as clean, like the types of heads giving more of a traditional sound to the drum to fit the style of music. Also, I haven't seen the 1978 SCV line, but I'm not sure if they had as many snare players as Top Secret does..just something to take into account when comparing to DCI
