Oh Ppppppppplease.........Don't blame the Bee Gees for this ''MOVIE'' They were probably suckered into it. The Bee Gees are best at singing their own songs of course. They are legends...........this is just a bit of fun, thats all.
What a good hearted movie. Love the songs, love the European flavor mixed in. Just loved it. I loved it then, and still today. Wish they had better audio, better director and better writer, but the music was outstanding. And Peter ran through the crowd so cutely, like a little boy, so precious. Loved it! Alot of talent in this film. Never heard of Sandy Farina till this film and loved her version of the beatles songs.
I think this is a "fun" movie; I was 22 when the movie made its debut. Always loved Peter Frampton (still do), and Steve Martin is super in his role at Maxwell!
Oh God, I remember going to see this when I was like, 11 or something, that's when this little hick town of Franklin,, had a theater still on main street...sooooo cool.
@galnic61 Peter Frampton still rocks...just saw him recently. In retrospect the movie is good campy fun w/ a bunch of great musicians. I don't think it even came to our town theater when it came out...we heard it was so bad. But I love it - it's so corny it's funny & some of my favorite people show up in it. Just look at the cast on IMDB.
Oh I love Robin Gibb and he did a great job singing in this song, and Maurice on the drums, it figures, he was so talented eh? I wouldn 't mine meeting Frampton myself, back then his hair was so cool, like a ball of fluffie cotton, lol
Aerosmith make the best villans ever. Up there with Darth Vader. Barry Gibb kinda looks like Kip Winger and Frampton like Jack Blades from Night Ranger.
I really think the performance of this song is really great. I am really impressed about the quality and accurate festive tone of the cover. I am a big fan of the Beatles but you have to appreciate the talent of the BGs.
I can see why people would view this as Beatles Blasphemy. Who know that feeling you get when a celebrity makes a cameo? That's the feeling I got for 2 hours when I saw this.
i watched this the other night and was like "holy drug movie" it was good but really silly and seems like something that would go good with weed or acid. silly hippies
I watched this movie over and over when I was young--the only reason I wanted to watch it in the first place was because of Barry Gibb, my first crush. Unfortunately for Barry, he was kicked to the curb the moment I saw Peter Frampton . . . and you know what? Peter is still way hot today.
dude when i was little i used to watch this movie constantly! lol i loved it. great movie. haha i always cryed wen tht one girl died (i forgot her name i think it was sandy or sumthing? lol )
I remembered when I was really little, I was watching this, and then I got obsessed with it. I just loved it, I watched a whole lot and I made my parents so sick of it. LOL!!! And I think that Peter Frampton looked a lot better back in the 70s. That is just my opinion.
Yeah! Great movie ...... for me to poop on! I saw this in the theatre when it came out -- very seriously awful! It destroyed the careers of many people. (Sorry. I hope I'm not too negative, but I had to say something).
OK. I didn't mean to offend your sense of aesthetics. I admit that they are all very, very cute. (A bit too cute for my taste, but that's no reason why Billy shouldn't be your "fave".) Party on, Garth!
recreation movie, not bad

I wonder how much they had to pay him to wear those white overalls with "billy" written on the front --lol
