there's one at mariohacks(dot)blogspot(dot)com that has patched hacks, but not many good ones.
Patching isn't difficult at all. I even show it in my "where to get super mario world hacks". All you need is Lunar IPS, the hack file in its IPS format and a clean rom. Open the ips file with lunar and it will select to patch, choose the clean rom, and it will say patch successful. Patch once!! Twice will disable the rom

my guess about the sound playing twice is your mic was too close to the computer speaker causing it to repeat?

Its hypercam, doesn't record the sound well hence the echo, if u see my later let's plays, I'm using camstudio
