Awsome video. I'm trying to learn Linux (Ubuntu) and think your desktop is pretty ideal for what I'd like to have running. I'm wondering what that toolbar is you throw around in the beginning. What distro do you use and are those performance meters on your desktop standard?

Hey shinypup, glad you like my cube.
My distro is Debian 4.0. The toolbar you see is called kiba-dock and the performance meters are called gkrellm.
If you have more questions just ask,
have fun!

how did you convert your .soem file??
Tomrade 4 years ago
I used mencoder for that, works better then the builtin conversion thingy.
try something like this:
seom-filter /tmp/beryl-capture.seom | mencoder - -ovc xvid -xvidencopts bitrate=1200 -o /home/ec/vids/video.avi
You need to change the path to where you want it saved and how you want to call the new file.
