Browder could have made a real convinsing derainged psycho villan in any type of show , suprised he did'nt pursue it after Farscape and SG-1. saw him in a made for tv movie where he played an air force officer whose wife was murdered. cant recall what it was titled but it was the first time i heard of him, then I discovered Farscape. Hope he gets more film roles in future....

as BSG: the suits told them to change the writing style to make it more appealing to mass audiences and less insular. Thus, in their attempt to gain more viewers, they lost them. This became a major factor when Vivendi went bankrupt and SCI FI Channel was in danger of collapsing as a network altogether. Barry Dillard was brought in to clean house, he looked at Farscape, and canned it rather than give ti their final contractually obligated, final season and replaced it w/ the cheaper SG-1.

This is exactly why Farscape was cancelled. It was a terrible decision made by idiots. If Farscape had ended production a month earlier than they did, SCI FI Channel would have cut the check for the final season, Farscape would have cashed it, and they could have made the final season. Unfortunately, bad business deals screwed everyone. I miss this show so damn much it's not even funny. HBO should have picked it up.

I HATE the SCI FI Channel! They bring in great shows and then terminate them. Farscape, I-Man, SG-1, and BSG to name a few!

are you serious? SG-1 had like 9 seasons, and BSG had a set beginning and end from the start. Farscape was super expensive to make, so they couldn't keep it up. I am guessing it was all the puppets and animatronics. You have shitty reasons for hating sci-fi. I still do think there are a lot of valid reasons to hate sci-fi though.

Actually, the SG-1 creators had plans to keep going but Skiffy wanted to end it because they felt it was becoming too cost-prohibitive (frankly, I'd rather have stuck w/ SG-1 than the drivel of either Atlantis or Universe). BSG ended b/c RDM was forced to change the dynamic of the show in season 3 to more stand-alone eps to appease the suits, ratings dipped & didn't ever come back, so RDM ended the show in season 4 before Skiffy canceled it. Scape lost viewers in season 4 for the same reason
