@jordan10236 Check the laws first. I was almost arrested a few years back just for operating a metal detectorr on public BLM land.
This is not as cut and clear as these people say and the laws are rarely if ever mentioned. If you intend to metal detect and/ or collect any artifact you had better know the laws. My 400 dollar detector no0w can be used only on picked over beaches and public parks, everything else is off limits. In otherwords, its fucking worthless. Know the laws!
i was walking my dog in this industrial park and in front of this business they have about 6 big boulders that are maroon in color and hve a bunch of little holes all over them. i thought they were either meteorites or ancient lava boulders. i should make a video of them and put them on you tube. if they are meteorites they are huge and worth a lot of money i'm sure and the guy who owns the business has them there cause they look cool and probably like me isn;t sure what they are
Nice Video, Just wanted to let you know that The Kansas Meteorite Association is now testing suspected meteorites. They are quickly becoming one of the top testing facilities in the nation. Keep the videos coming and I will be subscribing.
Nice Video, looks like we kind like the same thing, If you really are into meteorites check out our new association (kansasmeteoriteassociation(dot)weebly(dot)com) we will have our new you tube channel up and running soon. I'll be subscribing as well. Keep the videos coming.
dude if you go to "la zona del silencio" in mexico zonora you are going to get rich jajajajaja thats a fucking magnet field for meteorites and you dont even have to dig, and the metal detector wont work at all,
after watching some of your other videos i went out at the weekend to the beach here in the UK with my metal detector, all i seem to have found is magnetite but i'll keep searching for my first.
No bud I'm not Ruben, just a youtube fan curious about metal detecting. It's interesting that they detect meteorites too, that's pretty cool. Do you metal detect or hunt for minerals/meteorites aylale614? Peace everyone [08
I'm Aylale614, my name is aziz, I'm a meteorites dealer from Morocco. yes, the person with the metal detector is Buben Garcia, from Arizona, I know him, I always read his messages on the meteorites mailing list.
I used to hear of the Glorieta Meteor when I lived out there.
Did you know that at the American Museum of Natural Science in New York City has a large chunk of the Glorieta Meteor on display?
Also, there is an entrance way of a residence in Glorieta that is built out of rocks and stones from the area. The ownder boult it himself. There is one fairly large rock in it that is very different from the rest. I think it may be part of the Glorieta Meteor.
how do you knwo they are meteorites... i mean just because they contain metal? it could be iron or lead deposits or some shit? are you a geologist?

Like in a predominantly Iron based earth/soil area, is it still possible to find them with a metl detector?
Thanks ...

Where do you sell them for $10+ per gram? Ebay has tons of meteorites that are selling for next to nothing - if they're selling at all.
