Those are some horrible creatures to let her die and cut her open to get the drugs. I hope people like this IRL get murder 1 - then, they'll think about it. Though, the life of a Colombian girl probably isn't regarded very highly in the U.S. Wait until it gets as desperate here, economically - don't think it won't happen.

I was thinking the same thing. Why would she run off with the pellets after the old dude told her that if she lost even one they would pay a visit to her family. If she was truely scared for her life I think the better play would have been to just leave without the coke. Now she places her family at risk by running off with the coke. What was she thinking.

@Shamilton91 They didn't technically kill her - one of the drug pellets broke in her stomach, which caused the drugs to leak into her system and have a heroin overdose. They cut her open to get the drugs out of her body after she died.

@springdale122583 generalizing, that's what's up...generalizing drugs is your first problem, generalizing 'drug dealers' instead of the individuals that get me my leafy greens, a lot of them are really cool people, some jst trying to earn a living any way they know how. I'm not talking about these poppy field farmers. It's a cultural norm to do that shit, unfortunately. It's a culture of violence much like in America so I wouldn't blame the drugs in this case my dear.

so she no longer had anything hanging over her she was free to start a new life for her and her child in America
