I saw Wicked for the first time tonite in Sydney. The performances of Lucy and Amanda were fantastic. Its no exaggeration to say that Lucy lights up the stage, and i would recommend seeing this production to anyone.

I was down in Sydney on holidays last week. (I;m from Qld)

And after seeing your youtubes about Wicked, I went to see it at the Capitol theatre.

A top show ! And would you believe, it just happened to be the 500 th Wicked show in Australia ! !

They handed out streamers for everyone in the audience to throw at the stage at the end of the show, to mark this major milestone.

The wig kept coming unclipped on the side and this big piece of hair was going haywire, then when Lucy threw the wand backwards off stage in Popular, it bounced against a wall and came back on stage!!! LOL xxx

Laura-what a great story-I just read your comment out loud to Zoe!!! She would LOVE to have been Dorothy as she used to dress up as her every day for about a year when she was 4...blue socks,ruby slippers,checked dress,white shirt and braids...even a black toy dog in a basket...however these days her focus has been on Glinda due to Wicked so i think the Universe just gave her what it thought she wanted!!!
