No, it's definitely implied that it's Marisa who died. Her being human is actually a significant part of her character, such that it is - see her justifying filching Patchouli's books by reasoning that she's going to die and a youkai certainly won't.

Altough i find it weird that Marisa dosent have her signature hair style in some parts of the video i think its an animation error, you can better appreciate this comparing the Marisa at 3:39 and the one at 3:57. |It could be the Flash light of the sun as the transition from a flash back.. at any rate the fight with Reisen from imperishable night proves its Marisa. other than that I'm not sure if Marisa has some sort of anti-aging magic or potion, but ho well shes a witch, beats me~
