Germans do not play with their heart and show no passion. They are robotic and play with their heads. Calculating and methodical. I like Brazil because they entertain and make people happy. If there was a game between Brazil v Germany the world would want Brazil to prevail as it would be better for the game.
@fatpigiam Yeah, guess you are right. Obviously though.... if you are English, your point of view might change ever so slightly, for you definiteley would like England to win against Brazil (better for the game or not!) or any other nation, as long as you would have that elusive world cup!
If the WC would be about playing pretty matches, Brazil would have to play themselves OR their women-team, led by Martha! Hope, we have at least some degree of concurrence.

You couldn't put a price on players like Gerd Muller, Franz Beckenbauer, Paul Breitner and Gunter Netzer compared with the players today. Brilliant, brilliant players. I would be more than happy for England to play like the 70s German team and see us win tournaments. Take a look at Muller's goal in the 72 euro Final where he made that surging run into the Russian defence and the 1-2 with i think Netzer to score a classic
@changewind13 It's a matter of opinion. I think they were one of the greatest teams of all time. I also reckon any football fan would love to see players like Muller, Beckenbauer, Netzer and Breitner in their team, players like these are priceless.
@SOS763 Totally agree, there was nothing wrong with Lorimer's goal. Bremner was not interfering, Joe Jordan pushed Billy Bremner offside and Bayern's players accepted it as a goal until they saw the linesmans flag. A bitter pill to swallow that one.
@changewind13 Yeah i've seen them play these teams. And yes i have to agree that Ajax and Liverpool were probably better and played more attractive football. But. In their own way this was a great team.
They went for a 0-0 draw, never trying to win the game.
