About persona games: If you like Visual novels you will LOVE this game, ot if you are a Jrpg fan you will love this game, if you accustomed to western style rpg and hate to read, the probably think like MrSnuggleduck. In my opinion, this is a fantastic game and i enjoyed every minute of it (maybe with the exception of the tartarus block before the final one which is an lsd parade and it's hard too look at it). This game is like playing an Anime, so for Anime fans as well, go for it.
althow i completely disagree cus i think p3 is a iconic game he is right about mitsuru wthe her dumbass casting charm on a fucking boss thats a problem
Personally, I don't think you should delete this review. It is your opinion about the ps2 version of the game, and everyone's opinion should be respected. Plus, since you like P3P, then once you've done that positive review, you can leave this negative review up so that the audience will be able to clearly see the differences between the two versions.
But Persona 4 improved and polished Persona 3 and I have great hopes for the next Persona 5 (hopefully PS3 exclusive and not a two-console shit like FF13). Persona and Social Links - they are connected, if you hate Social Links you shouldnt really play this game but fact is many adore this and the fact to know other people and their problems in addition of getting great rewards and improving your stats (courage, inteligent, charm etc). In the future there might be a skip-button but I love it ;)
@Fly2theSora I know what you mean. I've pretty much done a complete 180 on this game now that I'm playing the portable version. The social links are much easier to get through and some of the female MC ones are a huge improvement. It's also done in a visual novel style which is more in line with what the social links are. After I've finished Persona 3 PSP I'll review it.
Its a bit harsh review considering it was named the best RPG of 2007 by Gamespot. I mean, I LOVE this game, took my breath away. Sure its annoyning with the enemies who cast instant death spells, or tactial orders at crucial times especially without having saved like those damn Charm spells, but that encouaraged me to take up on the challenge and I LOVED IT. And I find the Social Link part awesome, its like RPG meets Sims and its recogniziton speaks for itself. And the story is SO SUSPENSE!!! ;)
@ledzeppelin01 I just got my hands on the Persona 3 Portable copy of the game. The improvements are HUGE and I'm really quite pleased with all of the fixes. But more importantly, you can control all your characters. No more MARIN FUCKING KARIN!
I dont see how the mc is emo so he has blue hair big deal

Cheers. I know it's a love or hate game, the friend that referred it to me said he was an addict but I kinda steered more to Persona 4.
That said I will still be playing the PSP version and reviewing it when it comes out sometime in July...

Awesome. I haven't played Persona 4 yet but will most likely get it later in the year.
