If I had to list my top ten video game moments ever, this would be close to the top (if not number one). Especially because the first time I played this game, I was completely unspoiled and had no idea the "World of Ruin" was coming... so by the time I got to this part, I REALLY needed some hope. When this happened I seriously almost cried.

Even all these years later, the Falcon roaring to life out of the sea with that music playing makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

I think all the FFs are good. It's just that whenever a gamer tries their first FF. 90% of the time, that FF would be come their favourite in the series.

I think its good to have a favourite FF, but it's also good to try other FFs in the series. Even if a game is considered overated (FF7). ;P

FFVIII was my first complete playthrough in the series... followed by VII and IX. When i played VI it became my favorite... i was so immersed in the story, words can't even explain. Such a beautifully well crafted game in all aspects. Would love to see a remake that holds true to this old classic. I think its definitely very possible.

If we ever see a remake, it'll probably be on the Nintendo DS or the PSP.

Even though I like the Nintendo DS more than the PSP, I still think that the PSP is the best option for FF6.

PSP is capable of much better sound quality, graphics, and content than the Nintendo DS. When it comes to remaking FF6, I would love to see a true remake.

I would be pissed out of my mind if the remake for FF6 was a mediocore port.

I have beaten the game with only the three necessary characters. Yes, there's some changes to the ending. I don't think it's necessary to use cheats. Just use the Dinosaur forest & the Cactuar desert to level up. :)

There is a logic. Back then, if you let Cid dies, when Celes tries to suicide, a bird healed her, and that same bird was holding Locke's bandana. Celes remebers this, and then asks Setzer to follow the bird.

I do wonder how they were able to take off from underwater when they were standing on the deck, though. Close up you see a separate ship part, and far away you see one solid part.

Probably the same dimensional anomaly that makes Terra blonde sometimes, and green-haired other times, or that makes General Leo black on the menu screen and white in his sprite.

I could honestly write a book on how much I love this game. Favorite game of all time, hands down, period. The story is amazing and the soundtrack is beyond this world. It's designed so you fall in love with every character. I don't even understand how they could pack so much beauty into such a small cartridge(Yes SNES version for life :D)

Imo FF6 is the best of all of the Final Fantasy games. The story is kick ass, Kefka is my favorite antagonist in the whole series. And yes his laugh pwned. A remake of this game would be a dream come true.

My god...this was one of my favorite scenes in the game. It's just so awesome when the new Overworld song starts playing, and when the Falcon comes out. It's so awesome. ^_^
