@Nikonace I agree and im only 11 kids of my age dont understand the collness of a lamborghini countachs v12 roaring. all they can think about is ps3 and xbox.
I heard that Ray STevens likes cock and coke.If its true then shame on him If its not then shame on us all.Anyone see his tribute to Sarah Palin.Pure genius yeah ladies and gents this guy has got the goods. And those goods are HOTT with 2 Ts cause its really hott
love the fast stringwork on the song, makes me want to hit the pavement, run or do something all out, let'em roll from sea to shining sea. Cannonball.
This was shot on the Boulder Highway heading south out of Las Vegas to Highway 93. You can see the Railroad Pass Casino on the right which still exists today but is a lot different. Fantastic opening scene.
Probably the only time the REAL sound of a foreign sports car has ever actually been heard in an American film. Why the hell they feel they have to dub those dull, lazy, pig-iron blocks over the beautiful, highly tuned sounds of Italian V12s I'll never know...
And another first... the only film where a supercar actually ACTS like a supercar, blasting away from the police leaving them for dust (2:07).
I definitely fell in love with sports cars when I first saw this film!
Well put! I was 4 when we got this on VHS. One of my all-time favorites of my earliest years. SImply amazing sounds and stunts. THe music is good too!
I have that movie. That Lamborghini was Cool. I remember back in the 80's when i first seen that movie. Car looked Futuristic. Light years ahead in it's design.
Trans Am V Lambo on that road... Lambo is GONE!!!! haha .... Bet that Trans Am shook like a sh---ing dog when that V12 opened the taps on it ass... haha Ave it.!!!
dude, i set my car up for the corners... im not into 1/4 racing.. when thes sec gen F-bodys are built with the right parts, thay can handle pretty good.. just look on youtube here and look for the DSE test car...type this in here
You may be able to keep up with a Lambo for a short period of time, but across a full road course the Lambo's superior cornering, superior braking, and lower brake heat would beat you.
this lambo...no way... but a newer one, yes it would murder me... this lambo wasn't that great for racing, it was more for status symbol.... lambo wasn't big on perfecting ther cars for the courses...like thay are now

Great opening scenes! The trans Am in "Shaker Run" could probably keep up with the Lambo.
