  • i want to custom order this in blue with magnets and a 12vdc cigar plug. is there a way you could hook me up with that?

  • @AdmiralKakarot We can do blue and we can sell you a set of 90# pull magnets as well as a cigar plug cable. You would then have to put them together since ECCO does not sell a plug in version of this light. Call us and I'll be happy to assist you.

  • @ResponderPSE im no good at wiring. the last time i tried to rewire a light i nearly blew myself into a wall and im not even joking about that. does this light come in a beacon?

  • @AdmiralKakarot Yes, it is exactly as you see it. If you wish to have it configured with a cigar plug, we can easily do this for you at no charge. Just give us a call and we'll be more than happy to make this work for you.

  • @AdmiralKakarot Certainly. We can wire in the plug and supply the magnets. You will then just have to bolt them on once you receive the package.

  • I saw these on a construction vehicle during the sunlight a couple of months ago...not impressed. I'll stay with solid-state LED flashing. Thanks for posting this!

  • why ´hybrid´? is there an battery in or something?

  • @fireworkfreak100 "hybrid" in the sense that it uses stationary leds with a rotating reflector. So it's not a true rotator where the reflector rotates around the light source. But this way, more than 90% of the light energy is directed out by the mirror.

  • @ResponderPSE OK, thanx couse i thinked like that on cars: it starts with gasoline and goes farther with electricity. sorry for my bad English

  • @fireworkfreak100: Thanks for the design idea, dude.

  • @343ofFDNYsfinest Sorry for the late reply. I don't think to check the comments very often. It's listed on our website for $337.79

  • i saw a single LED rotating beacon on the highway a few days ago at night, it was really effective... i'd like to see more LED rotators

  • looks great... luv that POP... truly the best of both worlds... and i wouldnt doubt that a rotator bar is in progress... the key here is low amps...

  • ive seen the beacon version of this pretty impressive. its only downfall is the sun reflecting off the upper side of the reflector, if youre at the right angle, the sun is brighter. too bad the minibar didnt have a better housing.

  • any sales of this yet???

  • Actually, yes. This has proven to be very effective for snowplowing use due to its rugged design and eye catching warning signal.

  • I'd love to see a full-size lightbar version of this item. You could do so many things with that setup.

  • I agree. I think this this product brings together the best of both worlds. However, ultimately, I would like to see a true led rotator bar but I doubt it will ever happen.

  • and what is a true led rotator?

  • Meaning?

  • @ResponderPSE

    Have you seen PowerArc?

  • Looks good. They should come out with a two light model, to simulate a 2 bulb rotator.

  • I don't know that it would be possible without putting led's in the top of the unit so the reflector would be illuminated on both sides. Right now, their focus is modifying the unit so they can make this light available in a magnet mount. I see your point though.

  • Right, and that was my exact thought, too.

One thing they could do is with a dash mount light, use an interchangeable flash speed, which isn't all that hard.
