  • Beautiful played.

  • @larseriknilsson thank you lars

    how nice it is to get a comment on a long

    ago done video piece. it is so nice to out

    of the clear blue be reminded of something

    from almost three years ago.

    keep singing and playing lars,

    you sound great.

    peace,rich

  • @kidderminsterbro thank´s a lot, i found this clip searching for martin guitars and how they sound. I can't decide if if i´m going to buy d-21 special or Hd-28. Hard to get a store here in sweden who sell the d -21. But after listening to your guitar i probably buy a Hd28 and fix the sound hole. You can´t buy one of those guitars here thats for sure.

     All the best

    Lars

  • I can't believe it, WoW! Even louder than the HD-28, now that's loud. LOL I'll just be playing in front of myself or the Wife so the HD-28 will do the trick ;-)

    I went to 2 m guitar centers in the last few weeks and played many, many acoustics. I finally settled on the HD-28. I'll order it from MFG in a week or two. BTW great playin.

  • Does the larger sound hole give you even louder sound than the regular HD-28?

  • @hawg427 hey hawg this guitar seems to cut through with more volume

    but my friends hd28v has a deeper bass than the hd28lsv

    when i purchased it at maken music here in chicago i tried it against

    a bunch of other d28's and this one just spoke to me

    the fretboard is wider and tougher to play than the regular d28

    but i have gotten used to it

    hope that helps,

    peace,rich

  • @kidderminsterbro Once you get use to the 1 3/4 nut. Nothing compares in the fast action,and the sound you get from the 1 3/4 added with the LSH I have a HD-16R LSH with a mod.c neck and 1 3/4 nut. I wouldn't trade it for a HD-28,or even a Santa Cruz Tony Rice. Maybe not even for a D-28 Clarence White.I actually believe the Hybrid Scalloped bracing in the HD-16R LSH,has a better sound then the prewar scalloped bracing.

  • Wow the first tune was gorgeous.

  • H= Herringbone

    D=Dreadnaught

    28= Finish level (inlay,Indian Rosewood back and sides)

    L=Large

    S=Sound hole

    V=Vintage tuner

  • Beautiful. Great sounding guitar, great playing.

  • Really nice to listen to. Thanks.

  • Very nice indeed...slight hint of a Lenny Breau thing going on

  • Beautiful Martin guitar sounds. Keep playing those originals. It is refreshing to hear something never heard before. You make it sound so easy.

  • Baeutiful, Rich. What a great-looking axe also. What's the "LSV" about?
