HypX2 gave some good lighting advice. What I've also seen done is to adorn your wall(s) (one(s) that won't be on camera) with aluminum foil, to help reflect light. Anyhow the goal is to have it bounce around the room so you don't have to aim the light(s) directly at you. But if you're using the room to live in too (not just practice), the foil thing may not be practical. At least your walls are white.

As for the lighting, I don't know how you set it up, but can you try turning your light towards the wall so you don't get direct light, but get it as it bounces of the wall. It should give you a smoother lighting - assuming the light is strong enough. The larger the area is the better. You have white walls, so it should work.

@randomyoko go System Preferences, then Language & text, then input sources and enable the Keyboard & Charter viewer. You will get an extra input in your menu bar (where you switch between Japanese and English) you will see zillions of fun characters!

I absolutely love the piano, most beautiful instrument in the world, violin coming next, though the combination of them 2 is heavenly. I wish I could play them, haven't really had any opportunity to learn... :S
