Ear Problems : Why Does My Ear Itch?

My inner ear itches real bad. I constantly use cotton buds (qtips).  Doctors are uselss dont prescribe nothing. Only say to use olive oil. What can be used to stop itching inside the ear?

using a massager/vibrator on your ear feels freaking amazing when your ears itch. takes the itch away almost instantaneously.

please help me. i am plagued by itchy ear syndrome, i have uncontrollable need to move the ear canal around to rub it on the interior, 5-10 times a day

It is a genetic trait passed through my family on the greek side, my father has a slight case of it i can tell, but most notably my cousin has a uncontrollable need to do the same thing, 3-5 times per hour

please please please help me
