The word 'religion' makes most people defensive. Christianity is not about being ‘religious’ but about allowing the Lord Jesus to free us from the bondage of the world and to follow His footsteps which lead to salvation of our souls; to be ‘born again. John 3:3. There are so many religions and Christianity should not be mistaken with the confusion that religions generate.

To present Jesus Christ as a mere teacher of meditation does not do justice to Him, because he came to take away the effect of sin, nobody else could have done that. Only the Son of God could have done it. The Catholic Church teaches original sin, which means, we are born with a sin that can only be forgiven by Baptism. Nature does not understand that. It is the Holy Spirit that makes us understand it.

@rooizilver "MERE teacher?" Where is that in this video? Please watch the video again and understand it fully. Jesus is clearly referred hear as "Master" or "Guru." Didn't his own disciples refer to Him, even in the Bible, as "Master?" Do you know what the term "Guru" in this context really means? It certainly IS NOT MERE TEACHER.

So many confused people that talk about christianity like they know what they are talking about. You can't believe in what Jesus said and follow any other path to God. Jesus plainly said I am the light of the world, no man comes to God but by ME. We can all close our eyes and make ourselves think we feel good. The bible tells us we should meditate...we should meditate daily on the Word of God. We pray for the kingdom to come, resurrection and an earthly kingdom, not one thats inside of us.

Jesus is not the only god in history there were masters before him and after him. There has never been a religion so full of blood, war and crime as christianity. It is disgusting.

Jesus says that "the kingdom of heaven is within you. Seek ye first and all else shall be delivered unto thee". To me, that sums up Transcendental Meditation in a nutshell.

Maharishiji is relaxed as he answers the questions related to attacks by the catholic fraternity. He gives a subtle hint to all his detractors to try TM practice. He offers them infinity thru TM. Use of simple language has always been the hallmark of Maharishiji. He is at his persuasive, charming, smiling and loving Best. What else can I say? How can one describe Infinity with finite words? Words fail and one is left speechless at the end of any and everyone of his discourses.

This is a beautiful talk. Maharishi embraces all the great religions of the world. Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Jainism, and more: Every religion has the same goal for it's devotees; and that's for every individual to know and feel god within their heart. God has many different names. They are all talking about the One Reality.

Wonderful - it really makes sense that actually Transcendental Meditation is a friend of Christianity and all Religions.

Whether you are religious or not it is a technique to develop the full potential of life which is total brain functioning and absolute bliss.
