Russell is the King of Survivor. The move made to get Tyson out was absolutey genius. The best move in surivor history. I just loved the look on the face of all the nuckleheads. Pure entertainment Russell.

Russel without a doubt is one of the best players so far to have played survivor. . . but ultimately he didn't win! It's not just getting to the END, it's HOW you got there. . . Almost everyone could have done what he did! In fact I think Boston Rob would have done better than him "IF" he played like Russel did, pure cutthroat lies, sabotage and coercion! and Rob clearly had a more social game than Russel, he's more likable... heck he got more votes than Russel when he made it to the finals! LOL
I don't know if he doesn't get the end game. its the fact he wanted to change it. year after year I see people win the game who don't deserve it, I think the jury should take the responsibility to vote for the best player. Russell controlled both games and to not vote for him as the best player just seems silly. Russel should have learned from people Like Richard, Chris Daugherty, Brian . ,how to not just be a nasty fucker. Richard, Chris and Brian all won because they knew they had to be somewhat nice to the jury. Natalie and Sandra saw right trough it, and they used Russel at their advantage, cause they knew that he'd screw himself in the finals with his cockiness. And that's a good strategy.
Countless juries in the past have voted for the strategic player even if they backstabbed the entire jury to get to the final. His strategy should have won Samoa, could have won HvV, but now that everyone's seen his strategy and his attitude the jury will be very reluctant to vote for him. Unless it's full of Russel fans, of course...

Wel, he decided who went home when (even when the numbers were 6 vs3 ) and when he saw that his alliance (danielle and parveti) were to close he made danielle go home. So yes dominate

His strategy consists of 'blindsiding' each person, after making a phony alliance with them. The JURY cannot handle this, and vote against Russell (Not for the other player). Out of sourness, they vote AGAINST Russel. Millions of viewers understand this, but survivor is rigged. He is clearly the best player, and he'd outwit you in a second.

Once again, the best player on Survivor comes in the runner-up position. (That 3 person finale is stupid as hell). Parvati makes me sick. She's the real snake. Russell is up-front about his devious ways, Parvati tries to pretend like she's so nice. Russell should've popped Sandra in the mouth for burning his hat. Russell should've won, but the player that makes the ballsy moves suffers against a jury full of sore losers, who would've done the same thing as Russell if they had the chance.

@seanGthegodcharged51 Getting to the finals is great. That doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad player. But the three players you just mentioned didn't have personalities that fully overshadowed whatever great plays they pulled off. (Matt was a little weird, Rob got a little too carried away with his Mafia persona, and Stephen, who knows?) If he were just a little more reined in, the jury would probably respect Russell enough to award him some votes.

No matter what strategy Russell wud hav come up with, from the beginning, most the players decided Russell was a snake. He ONLY voted jerri off because he thought just maybe he had her vote, he knew he wud never get Sandra's vote, so wat was the use voting her off at the end.

Sandra simply won because the idiots who were doing the voting, just couldn't bring themselves to vote for the players that got them kicked out the game. (ie: russell & parvati) so sandra won be default. simple as that.
sandra said at the final her strategy which she believed was gr8!! was to get russell kicked off at every chance she had. well it never worked, ever. no matter if other players didn't support her, it just didn't work. funny thing that worked in her fav, again by default.
@TrangulumAustrale and russells strategy was to take those two to the final tribal council cause he thought that would win him the votes....and he failed. as the game proves, doesnt matter HOW you win, as long as you win. He had all the girls in the palm of his hand except Sandra. Can't we see the big picture? Russell should have been voted out much earlier in the game. But everyone has the attitude of "Here, take my brain and play with it, but be sure and give it back, because I might need it some day." apparently, if you want to win Survivor, dont play the game. Stay under the radar and dont do a damn thing. Sandra winning H vs V shows me that Survivor is flawed. the ending of H vs V was the biggest tragedy in Survivor history. It is doubtful that I will ever watch another Survivor. The only way i'll watch another is if they do another All-Stars and Russell comes back. It was an absolute privelage watching him play the game.

I did my own survey for last season and asked 10 people who won Survivor last season. Not one remembered Natalies name. ALL OF THEM remembered Russell.

Every player this season was aware or should have been awared of Russell's sneaky behavior, yet they allowed Russell to get the best of them and beat them to the finale. The jurors are all guilty of backstabbing and doing evil things (including "lovable" Rupert - remember how he stole and barter away the other team's shoes?) yet they acted like they never played dirty, acting like they played the game "honorably." "spit on the ground" At least Russell acknowleges his dirty tactics.
With another jury of moronic, sore losers that are bigger hyprocrites than last season's jury, the only chance that Russel had at the million dollars if he had brought Cerie and James with him to the finale and you all know it. Cerie and Sandra are practically the same yet there is one key difference between them that made people gun for Cerie but not Sandra and you know what it is. You can deny it all you want but when you think about it, you know I am right.

Last season, a "dumbass girl" took total advantage of his total blind spot to score the gold. This season, TWO of them took total advantage of his total blind spot to leave him with no support. He forgets that not everyone is there to be entertainment. Don't blame the jury for what was his fault.

However, the jury is, too, at fault for not objectively picking the winner by not considering questions like "who played the game the best?" but questions like "who I like most?" and that is not playing the game. Lazying about and being "nice" is just part of it. Russell did that (for awhile, but he still did that) and then some.

The last time I watched survivor was about season 4. The sponsers should get down on bended knee and thank Russel for playing the way he does or I'm sure the viewers would have been much lower.
Greatest player ever as far as getting to the finals...worst player ever of putting himself in the position to win the finals. The problem of with being a deceiving manipulator is that you burn too many bridges. The proof: he did not receive a single vote in the final tally.
But I must admit, he is by the most interesting player in the history of this show and each season he has played the show has revolved around him.
the jury's just mad because, in the beginning they all wanted to get rid of him, and he end up in the final three! the jury's should all watch the episodes so they have idea what their talking about!
I really enjoyed watching Survivor these past two seasons, only because of Russell. He made the game interesting, exciting and made you feel like someone for a change was actually "playing" the game- not just hanging out on a beach somewhere going through a couple challenges for some tv time. No, Russell thought out each move, each blindside, each lie. Whats this "social, moral" thing everyone keeps talking about? It's Survivor, not Social Club. I don't know, maybe they should change the name.
Russell said he didn't care on how the jury voted the thing is you kind of have to care because they are the ones who are giving you a million dollers. I mean Russell made enemies, yes you do make enemies in survivor but if they happen to be in the jury then good. I think if Russell does survivor agian, he needs to switch his game play a bit and start actually making friends then all enemies then he would win. I do thing he is the best player.
Russell is by far one of the smartest and best players on survivor he is good at stategizing, manipulating and he is good at challenges and making alliences. The problem with Russell is that he brings the wrong people to the final. He also makes bad relationships with the people on the jury which isn't smart and cost him the game.
Russell is by far the most entertaining player to have ever played the game. But, it's unfortunate that he forgets that the final 3 is judged by the jury and no one is going to vote for him after he manipulated and lied to everyone. He's clever throughout the game, but his arrogance blinded him from seeing and understanding that he lasts through to the final 3 because the other top players know he won't get the votes in the end.
Russell is the best survivor ever. Russell backed up his words and defeated some serious players. Rupert and coach need neck up checkups. That is twice in a row America would have voted for Russell if it wasn't up to the jury. Without Russell the show would have been half as fun. IMO survivor owes Russell a huge thank you for making two season the best yet. I don't know for sure but I think they are going to allow America to vote like on American Idol next season.

Russel without a doubt is one of the best players so far to have played survivor. . . but ultimately he didn't win! It's not just getting to the END, it's HOW you got there. . . Almost everyone could have done what he did! I don't know if he doesn't get the end game. its the fact he wanted to change it. year after year I see people win the game who don't deserve it, I think the jury should take the responsibility to vote for the best player. Richard, Chris and Brian all won because they knew they had to be somewhat nice to the jury. His strategy should have won Samoa, could have won HvV, but now that everyone's seen his strategy and his attitude the jury will be very reluctant to vote for him. Wel, he decided who went home when (even when the numbers were 6 vs3 ) and when he saw that his alliance (danielle and parveti) were to close he made danielle go home. So yes dominate
He even made the enemy gave him there immunity idol that became the downfall for the heroes.
The only thing he didn't know in WHOLE the game was that parveti had also found an idol.

His strategy consists of 'blindsiding' each person, after making a phony alliance with them. The JURY cannot handle this, and vote against Russell (Not for the other player). Once again, the best player on Survivor comes in the runner-up position. (That 3 person finale is stupid as hell). Parvati makes me sick. She's the real snake. Russell is up-front about his devious ways, Parvati tries to pretend like she's so nice. Russell should've popped Sandra in the mouth for burning his hat. Russell should've won, but the player that makes the ballsy moves suffers against a jury full of sore losers, who would've done the same thing as Russell if they had the chance.

Yul was strategic player in that season too, blindside a couple of people, manipulate some of the players too...
but he could win it, because he was not as egoistic as russell did when facing the jury.. he was tactful in his words , and therefore he won.

But the three players you just mentioned didn't have personalities that fully overshadowed whatever great plays they pulled off. (Matt was a little weird, Rob got a little too carried away with his Mafia persona, and Stephen, who knows?) If he were just a little more reined in, the jury would probably respect Russell enough to award him some votes.

Sandra simply won because the idiots who were doing the voting, just couldn't bring themselves to vote for the players that got them kicked out the game. (ie: russell & parvati) so sandra won be default. simple as that.
sandra said at the final her strategy which she believed was gr8!! was to get russell kicked off at every chance she had. well it never worked, ever. no matter if other players didn't support her, it just didn't work. funny thing that worked in her fav, again by default.

Can't we see the big picture? Russell should have been voted out much earlier in the game. But everyone has the attitude of "Here, take my brain and play with it, but be sure and give it back, because I might need it some day." He burns their clothes, dumps out their drinking water and the other players get angry at everyone else after he does this. Have we reached the place where life is survival of those who lie, cheat, and dominate everyone else?

apparently, if you want to win Survivor, dont play the game. Stay under the radar and dont do a damn thing. Sandra winning H vs V shows me that Survivor is flawed. the ending of H vs V was the biggest tragedy in Survivor history. It is doubtful that I will ever watch another Survivor. The only way i'll watch another is if they do another All-Stars and Russell comes back. It was an absolute privelage watching him play the game.

Russell was on a higher intellectual level. He played the game (better than anyone ever has) to the hilt, and felt this would be rewarded. He, and probably most viewers, were shocked that this didn't happen, that instead the whiny little kids on the jury had a temper tantrum instead.

I believe you played the game appropriately and am sure you play real life with far more dignity than jury members who attacked you on a personal level rather than a game level. Wish you would have won. But you are a winner far greater than you may know.

Russel mate, you were brilliant and you MADE this series a success. A series called Heroes vs Villains i expect to have a 'hero' player vs a 'dirty' player. All that was left were 3 'dirty' players of which you were king of them all. That makes you the winner!! The jury were clearly bitter, unsportsmen like and up on high-horses. Yet all were happy to play with you in the backstabbing. Crazy logic on their behalf.

russell played the game like everyone should be playing, you cant make it to the top being nice n never lieing.. 3 words for survivor, ''outwit'' outlast'' and ''outplay'' thats what russell did n he didnt even win once... this game is total shit and i dont beleive in it at all, i dont beleive i will be watching survivor anymore.. due to the fact of russells inability to win.. though he should!

Russell should have won and if not him, then Parvati. Sandra was a proud coattail rider. That type of person sickens me... If any message was sent to the public when the jury picked Sandra to win, it was that that hard work does not always pay off and that people are better off reaping off other people's hard work :p

Every player this season was aware or should have been awared of Russell's sneaky behavior, yet they allowed Russell to get the best of them and beat them to the finale. The jurors are all guilty of backstabbing and doing evil things (including "lovable" Rupert - remember how he stole and barter away the other team's shoes?) yet they acted like they never played dirty, acting like they played the game "honorably." "spit on the ground" At least Russell acknowleges his dirty tactics.

With another jury of moronic, sore losers that are bigger hyprocrites than last season's jury, the only chance that Russel had at the million dollars if he had brought Cerie and James with him to the finale and you all know it. Cerie and Sandra are practically the same yet there is one key difference between them that made people gun for Cerie but not Sandra and you know what it is. You can deny it all you want but when you think about it, you know I am right.

@AllRequired And that's the problem with the game. Those juror forgot that "it is just game..." They took it way too personally. Like I said before, they all did something that they ought not to be proud of while playing the GAME, yet they look down at Russell just because his faults are more noticeable.

@Ryuzaki444 No, the problem with the game is HIM. If he has a problem with how the game actually is played, he should try out for American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. Last season, a "dumbass girl" took total advantage of his total blind spot to score the gold. This season, TWO of them took total advantage of his total blind spot to leave him with no support. He forgets that not everyone is there to be entertainment. Don't blame the jury for what was his fault.

@AllRequired You are right. Russell is at fault for allowing Natalie(:p) to win last season and for allowing Parvati AND Sandra to accompanying him to the final. However, the jury is, too, at fault for not objectively picking the winner by not considering questions like "who played the game the best?" but questions like "who I like most?" and that is not playing the game. Lazying about and being "nice" is just part of it. Russell did that (for awhile, but he still did that) and then some.

Love him or hate Russel, it's the only thing that made this seasons survivor worth watching.
The last time I watched survivor was about season 4. The sponsers should get down on bended knee and thank Russel for playing the way he does or I'm sure the viewers would have been much lower.

Greatest player ever as far as getting to the finals...worst player ever of putting himself in the position to win the finals. The problem of with being a deceiving manipulator is that you burn too many bridges. The proof: he did not receive a single vote in the final tally.
But I must admit, he is by the most interesting player in the history of this show and each season he has played the show has revolved around him.

I really enjoyed watching Survivor these past two seasons, only because of Russell. He made the game interesting, exciting and made you feel like someone for a change was actually "playing" the game- not just hanging out on a beach somewhere going through a couple challenges for some tv time. No, Russell thought out each move, each blindside, each lie. Whats this "social, moral" thing everyone keeps talking about? It's Survivor, not Social Club. I don't know, maybe they should change the name.

Russell said he didn't care on how the jury voted the thing is you kind of have to care because they are the ones who are giving you a million dollers. I mean Russell made enemies, yes you do make enemies in survivor but if they happen to be in the jury then good. I think if Russell does survivor agian, he needs to switch his game play a bit and start actually making friends then all enemies then he would win. I do thing he is the best player.

Russell is by far one of the smartest and best players on survivor he is good at stategizing, manipulating and he is good at challenges and making alliences. The problem with Russell is that he brings the wrong people to the final. He also makes bad relationships with the people on the jury which isn't smart and cost him the game.

Russell is by far the most entertaining player to have ever played the game. But, it's unfortunate that he forgets that the final 3 is judged by the jury and no one is going to vote for him after he manipulated and lied to everyone. He's clever throughout the game, but his arrogance blinded him from seeing and understanding that he lasts through to the final 3 because the other top players know he won't get the votes in the end.

Russell is the best survivor ever. Russell backed up his words and defeated some serious players. Rupert and coach need neck up checkups. That is twice in a row America would have voted for Russell if it wasn't up to the jury. Without Russell the show would have been half as fun. IMO survivor owes Russell a huge thank you for making two season the best yet. I don't know for sure but I think they are going to allow America to vote like on American Idol next season.

@zoxovox yes, America would have voted for Russel because he's entertaining and he has probably pulled hundreds of thousands of viewers to the show, but that's not how the game is played. You have to get to the end without ruining every relationship along the way.

I thought Russell was disgusting tonight. He's far too cocky and needs to learn to treat people with respect. When you get zero votes from the jury, it should teach you something. I don't think this guy will ever get his overblown ego in check. I'm disappointed that Rupert didn't win the Sprint award.
