  • All of that just to catch a damn bluefish?? I fish for Stripers on Martha's Vineyard, and all the blues are good for is tearing up otherwise good tackle.

  • I release every bluefish I catch. Great fun to catch. Horrible to eat.

  • you can throw them into a big sack if you have one, it doesn'tmuch matter. I've tried different ways, but usually get them fillet'd.

  • I generally don't keep bluefish. I'll give them to the crew or let them go. People that want to keep them will bring coolers on the boat. I think you need to bleed them quickly and put them on ice.

  • @yorkvilleangler I fish for bluefish out of Point Pleasant Beach NJ on the Queen Mary what the crew told me was once the fish is on the deck unhook it quick and put it on ice quick so it won't be bloody.

  • Where do you keep the fish after you catch them?

  • @seka1986 everybody brings their own coolers on the boat with them with ice to keep the fish cold
