  • @198910Leonardo please update ur blackberry os in case u don't know how to do that

please check up tutorials... its worth..

latest os for blackberry 9000 is 5.0.4.1

  • Dude. This was a video of a pre-release Bold showing off a few of the problems before it came to market. RIM fixed the problems in two fixes soon after release.

Do you go onto videos here of old trailers that say "coming 1982" and post "this is crap, its already out"?

  • well how about change your description then instead of making people think this type of blackberry is slow. hah, dude what are you, a dictionary? get a life instead of worrying about peoples spelling mistakes.

  • uhm, probably because theres no sim card! of course its not gonna work if it has no where to save the pics/videos to!

  • @omfgyourmomsugly Slight misunderstanding there. SIM card is a Subscriber Identity Module that stores user and network info. A memory card would be used for pics/video, which I'm pretty sure the the device had. RIM admitted a problem with the unit. I mentioned that earlier in the comments. (It's "too" btw.)

  • if you turn it off with the red button then the next rebbot will be muh faster ;)

  • as soon as u take the battery out its automatically goin to take longer to reboot

  • in my bb 8100 it appears a red light that when i charge appears and i try to turn on it still appears and dont turn on, what happens to my bb plz help

  • try installing the blackberry desktop manager and reinstalling the OS samthign happend to my 8900 it should work again.

  • You made it sound like it was a software issue, but it's not. Read the other posts. They agree with me too.

  • It was a problem with the Firmware when the Bold was first release. They have updated the firmware since.

  • That's just a problem with your BB Bold.

  • Thanks, in a video call Blackberry Bold Problems what were you expecting to find?

This was the first release of the Bold and obviously Blackberry have tightened up these problems.

  • nub....

  • dude its cuz u took the battrie out

  • That doesn't happen to my Bold. When I press the power button, I'm there in seconds.

  • this is not a problem, this is boot......after then boot, turn on in 2 sec max!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it says enter sim card!!!!!! it wont work unless the sim card is in

  • If you notice it says please enter sim card my camera and video does not work if no sim card is in .........put that in ya pipe and smoke it i love the blackberry

  • you shouldn't remove the battery why would you? with the battery it wont take that long

  • you're complaining about blackberry boot times. go try and load an iPhone or an iPod Touch in under a minute.

  • lol well my iphone loads under a min, but it doesnt have alot of songs on it, i only have like 25 n just 100 pictures but it does it under a min...like 45 secs.. i jsut checkd :D

  • this is a useless video... all blackberry's take along time to boot... its jsut the way they are

  • all new blackberries do that but if you turn it off by the end key it should come up almost in a second but if not it is broken

  • whatever all blackberries do that. so dont complain.

  • Actually the latest OS update is 4.6.0.190. I installed it on mine about a week ago and the batt lasts twice the time and no problems whatsoever.

  • just install the latest firmware and all of your problems should be solved.

    just try firmware: 4.6.0.167

  • Nice tip, I'll add that to the original review. Thanks.

  • One wonders why this video matters.... its not like people take the battery out everytime they want their phone to shut off... you clearly have to much time on you hands and you wasted space and time on this video.

  • Funny, same thing can be said about your message.

  • Thanks for your useless opinion. One wonders why you'd even bother commenting... now I'm mad at myself for letting you make me dumber.

  • I agree the device is buggy but it was a retail unit

  • 1. All BlackBerry take a long time to boot if you take the battery out, thats common sense with BlackBerry's

    2. As far as your camera issue, you have a problem.
