@karmalink20 Actually, they do, but Nintendo hardly shows any romance between them. Skyward Sword explains answers most of these questions, especially at the end, where Demise's/the 1st ever, original Ganondorf's last words explains to the 1st ever, original Link & Zelda that his hatred will reincarnate for all time, as will Link (Hero) and Zelda (Damsel In Distress and Link's Lover), so that their war will never end. They do love e/other in Skyward Sword, btw.
