The guy I like is now dating one of the popular girls in my school. All I could think homecoming night was, "This sucks, I put all this effort into trying to look like a girl and he comes with that girl, who's a total snob and looks like an amazon woman." I'm left in the circle of my friends, wearing my first pair of heels that are killing my feet, and he isn't even dancing with her. I went home and cried so much. I listened to this song and every time I do I find a lot more courage and I laugh.
there's a simplicity in their music that is so beautiful and under appreciated. With haunting lyrics :)
