  • This has happened to me.. ugh.

  • says so much about real life! appreciate everybody!

  • Wait. Which guy is the "Great seeing you again guy"?

  • i dont find this entertaining...

  • Jay Johnston going apeshit to the gas station clerk is a truly classic Mr Show moment.

  • Where... is he..?

  • the musical notes are a "silent partner"?

  • Holy shit this video is from 2006. Thats soooo, like, old.

  • @o0FallingSnow0o Actually it's more likely from the late 90's when the show was on HBO.

  • they are the best. was able to see the live tour in boston. great. met david cross.

  • "I never got the chance to say goodbye." "I did, a lot."

  • lmao the awkwardness just bowls over the screen

  • In some strange way I an relate to this video.

  • WHERE ... IS HE?!?!?!?!

  • He looks hilarious driving that Miata. Wonder if they did that on purpose. I'm pretty sure he isn't gay.

  • Where is he?

  • Shit makes me kinda sick to watch lol

  • If this was black and white it would seem like a twilight zone episode

  • Lol, "Friendly acquaintance dies. Friend, sad."

  • Ohhh god, awkward

  • A silent partner in this sketch is the random music notes. Makes it that much funnier!

  • i hate when this happens to me, awkward.

  • I can't count the number of times I've said "Oh, I just remembered...I have a...candybar at home!"

  • It's so hilariously uncomfortable. Great clip.

  • Mr. Show is so quirky and funny! You'd think the point of this would be repetitive, but it just gets funnier!

  • "Where......is heeeeeee?"

  • Never heard of this show before- its great. Any other clip show would have had it end with the first part, but I love the twist towards the end.

  • i did not understand the second part of it. can someone please explain from 3:50 to end? thanks

  • @fenderbass8 The point is that he'd encountered his old friend so much that it became expected; when he didn't show up, he acted like he'd gone missing. That's why he returned to all the places they'd been before.

  • haha this is almost hard to watch

  • No better way to end the show.

  • "You too...You too" and "Stairs for me." I say these lines whenever I can.

  • great, great show..."i didnt get the chance to say goodbye"..."i did...a lot". you know they sell the entire 4 season collection for 50 bucks. on an unrelated note feel free to comment on my vids

  • 3:03... there he is....

  • touche

  • just like your input

  • you sir, are a fucking faggot

  • LMAO

i never got the chance to say goodbye

    ...i did...... alot

  • genius!

  • I think the reason this sketch works so well is because we all actively try to avoid this sort of thing. I do, anyway. XD

  • now thats acting

  • Love the Van Hammersly grave at the end. Also, this is a great sketch to watch at around 2 or 3 in the AM. Makes it feel kind of creepy.

  • van hammersly joke ruled....

what did it say on his grave?

the picture is too blurry for me...

  • Van Hammersly

    1942-1998

    Life After Death?

Hey, I just hope there's cable..

  • So poignant, so true!!

  • this is the best Mr. Show skit in my opinion. i love it. "WHERE IS HE?!?!?!?"

  • I wish someone would post every skit on here but with the audio from the DVD commentary too, youtube needs to step up its game to allow alternate audio tracks

  • Just goes to show Mr. Show didn't rely on shock value - they could write a G-rated joke and it's still hilarious.

  • It has been a treat heh

  • Funny, but I still think the "Story of Everest" is a funnier overkill.

  • Lol

  • he thinks you're kidding morgan. give him hell.

  • we did ,we got his email his pictures, his name and location and posted it all over the web.

he closed his account when we agreed to take the vid down we made of him

  • holy shit. you dont mess around.

  • morgan, you are dumb.

  • i love the hug in the parking garage

  • I think anyone who's had an awkward man-hug before can relate.

  • they do the best and smartest overkill by far

  • i've acualy been in situations like this, not lasting this long of cource but...yay..akward.

  • sweet fancy moses, I haven't laughed that hard in a while!

  • this has to be one of their most creative skits. this and the civil war one have a certain quality to it ghat goes beyond just plain comedy. probably cause there is truth in them.

  • brilliant! top notch show...way ahead of their time!

  • i love this sketch but they really could have done without the kinda lame "friend is sad" headline. "friendly acquaintance dies" was funny enough, "friend is sad" was self-conscious overkill

  • i disagree completely. that is exactly the sort of thing that makes mr. show funny. overkill.

  • Exactly.. See: Everest!

  • In the name of the infant Christ child I love this show!

  • lol... awkwardness... love it

  • Great skit. :p

  • Where is he?!

  • this was not that funny to me but the rest of the show was epic- one of my all time favorites

  • hahaha...Where is he?

  • i read somewhere david cross said this was his least favorite skit they ever produced, but I think it's one of their funniest -- that shit happens to me all the time :[]

  • I wonder why that was...

  • agreed, i really liked this one, dont know why david wouldnt

  • lol don't make up stupid crap like that

  • Surprised nobody mentioned that this sketch was directed by David Cross. I believe this sketch is from Season 4 episode 10 on their very last episode.

  • but this show was actually funny, unlike Kids in the Hall.

  • :|.

  • Something about this skit reminds me of the same style as Kids in the Hall.

  • wtf

  • genius

  • That was great. I know how that goes...

  • "friendly acquaintance dies"

    "friend is sad"

    lol

  • haha wow its awk just to watch this

  • This clip makes me so frustrated. How awkward.

  • This is different from a lot of other Mr. Show sketches, but I still love it!

  • Hilarious. And so true.

  • Sorry 4

  • awkward!

  • Season 5

  • there was no season 5

  • does anyone know what season this is from?

  • season 4

  • god, the music in this is epic.

  • These guys are hilarious, I've watched everyone of these seasons 10 times each and they are still funny, if you haven't got them, and you enjoyed this, get them now, don't wait another second.

  • Does anyone know what Van Hammersly's tombstone says?

  • Van Hammersly's tombstone says:

    Life After Death?

    Hey,

    I Just Hope There's Cable.

  • Yes, thanks for that...I actually liked these clips so much I bought the DVD set.

  • its season 4, you gotta love the awkward hug they have in the parking garage, and the 2 guys at the gas station who walk off to nowhere

  • what season is this from?

  • wow ive never seen these guys before they are genious.

  • i love how they take a skit that's already funny and invert it and flip it on its head and spank it and make a rorscharch out of the blood

  • it's really more of a social commentary, crisp on the outside and gooey warmth in the middleparts!

  • lol

  • more than a sketch, it's really more of a great short film.

  • agreed

  • Love the awkward manhugs.

  • that was hi-fuckin-larious. these guys are so smart.

  • I never got to say goodbye...I did....lots of times...

  • Where... is he?!

  • love it

  • Haha!

  • This Mr. Show sketch isn't too funny compared to the others.

  • nice. god, i love mr. show.
