  • Hey, I'm a PC too :D

  • this ad's message is simply:"Every Pc is a human being, we don't know what Mac's are."

  • OWNED

mac just uses the same guy over and over

  • I'm a PC and I love Windows 7!

  • If you had a life with no walls, where the hell do you plug it in?? just a thought.

  • I am a PC and I use GNU/Linux and I love GNU/Linux and I don't have MSWindows booted as my OS when I don't want it to be. I boot to XWindows on GNU/Linux. Or GNU/Linux. Or FreeBSD or OpenBSD or [coming soon] GNU/HURD and [EULA Violation] OSX. I have a choice. A PC allows choice. MS does not allow choice, even though the ad implies that.

  • Windows = Life without walls? HAHAHAHA it ain't got nothing BUT walls.

  • Im a PC and i have a big dick.

  • i sell fish xD

  • @daguangrong NO.

  • pc stinks like a fish

  • @EZISTENZ NO.

  • people who discuss about "Mac" or "PC" doesn't know a shit about computers.

  • love the strike back :)

  • wow lol i like fish and just recycle your mac or u can use it for what its best at being a paper wait lol

  • MAC ROCKS !

  • @cscthebest NO.

  • @cscthebest NO. !!!!!!!PC ROCKS!!!!!!!

  • 0:23 - awesome

  • LOL im a PC and i sell fish .. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH thats exactly why you have to switch to linux or a mac now... because windows will make an uneducated piece of slimy meatball with no soul. fuck winblows. im a pc and i run gnu/linux ... linuxmint 8 FTW

  • was that depak chopra?

  • Me:Hi, Im a PC.

    Me: Hi I'm a Mac.

Boot camp bitchesss XD. solution to all mac/pc problems lol

  • Hi, I'm a PC, but i also use Linux, and I've used MACs

    But I still prefer PC.

I also want to say, unless you've tried the different systems, stop acting like you'res is the best (This applies to everyone but is especially true to mac users)

  • I don't think PC users identify themselves with the manufacturer of their fucking rig, honestly. I *use* a PC... because Macs are too expensive and I don't make a habit of tripping over power cords.

  • I just bought a sweet new sleeve for my Macbook Pro, but there was one thing that confused me when I got it. The website description said it was a sleeve for my macbook, but when I opened the box there was a trash can inside and the brand name was "Made in China".

  • Quality > quantity just because more people use something doesnt mean its better

  • ... yeah tons of butthurt mac fanboy forums who complain about that there is no mac version if the thing u want to download

  • @jackthemapper dawg all the cool things in the world run on linux. most things that run on linux run on a mac. get with the program man or you will be left in the dark when LINUX TAKES OVER THE WORLD!!

  • @macbeasty

i think we have to disagree about what "all cool things in the world" are... direct x seems pretty cool to me...

  • @jackthemapper

...sigh. like i thought, ever PC owner plays the "video game" card. theres so much more to computers (at least for a computer engineer like me) than simply playing video games. in fact, stick with that, because that is the only thing you PC guys seem to come back to.

I like the mac for 2 reasons:

    1) It is indestructible (hardware and software)

    2) it has a UNIX core for easily compiling and running C programs, python scripts, etc.

I doubt you don't even know what UNIX is...

  • @macbeasty

    1) I know what unix is

    2) I Use the PC for two things: Gaming and recording/producing music. In order to do both in real time you need a powerfull pc. And id rather spend 600€ then 3000€ in order to have that. Also I upgraded the Graphics Card and the Ram when they wouldnt do anymore.

    3) I had bluescreen problems once. I managed to solve them with google in 1 hour. I hate people saying that its a big deal cuz it isnt.

  • @jackthemapper

aight. PC's are cheaper. although iLife (which includes garageband) for the mac is very good software for what you do. As far as games go, mac would be an expensive computer for playing games. although after they switched to intel, they can play games quite well although the only games i play on it are warcraft 3 and the starcraft 2.

  • @macbeasty Thats becuase I can build a PC with the exact same parts a mac has, and so can you, you just don't get the MAC OS which is the only thing you are really paying so much for.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

Also, you are absolutely right. You can very cheaply build a PC with similar components as the mac for a much cheaper amount. and i have nothing to say about that. But there is one main problem: PC's aren't going to stay cheap for long. Eventually, windows 7 (or a later version) will have copied the mac as much as it can and it too will cost several hundred dollars for the OS. Windows is losing its grasp of what users liked in its products - low cost.

  • @macbeasty Windows 7 dosen't really cost that much, nor will any other release. Prices of Windows operating systems are actually getting cheaper if you take inflation into account. I really don't think you have any basis for determining the future market trends. As for windows copying everything Mac does, that simply isn't true, anyone with a brain can do a google search for that. Besides windows is usually bundled with a pc purchase, and spending $70 bucks on a new build isn't that bad.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

    Windows 7 Premium: $199

    Mac OSX 10.5: $199

source: every online store or technology retailer

Hmm....what did you say earlier? Oh right..."you just don't get the MAC OS which is the only thing you are really paying for". Because according to a consistent source, it looks like Windows 7 is just as expensive as Mac OS. Sorry bud. Be less of a fanboy and switch over to linux. Every normal PC user has already.

  • @macbeasty You can get windows 7 premium for $60 bucks, you obviously didn't look to hard. I got windows 7 ultimate for $125. I am not a fanboy and I use redhat more than I use windows

  • @macbeasty What indestructible hardware and software? I would like to see what fire has to say about that. Windows 7 easily complies C/C+/C++ programs, python, XML, Java and whatever else. Windows 7 allows maximum customization with an easy to use interface, which is what causes problems for most people. They need to be restricted from erasing their system files and other things like Mac provides.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

so first thing - its been about 5 months since this post and i still have this laptop. i dropped it yesterday and put a dent in the aluminum and it still works flawlessly. my harddrive crashed about two weeks ago and i was able to recover every ounce of data on my computer by booting into a os from usb and recovering all of my index files without any data recovery. I then payed 80 bucks for a new harddrive and reinstalled the OS and my computer is back to perfect.

  • @macbeasty A dent in the aluminum? Hard drive crashed, well depends on what you mean by crashed, data recovery from a non physically damaged hard drive is relatively easy with the right tools, I do it all the time and it's not that hard to recover everything. Dropping your laptop once is hardly any reason to call your laptop indestructible. Plenty of people drop their computers without any adverse effects, maybe a dent or something, or a cracked screen.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

I'm 23 years old. I average a laptop about every 2 years although this is my first and so far my only mac. I opened my backpack from my desk and the laptop dropped from over 3 feet in the air to land on the tile. I'm thinking you don't know what indestructable means. It doesn't mean it can't dent, it means the laptop properly absorbs the damage. I'd like to see your computer take an impact on the CD-ROM drive side of the laptop and still have CDs slide in flawlessly.

  • @macbeasty You arguing something that has nothing to do with Mac at all, most computers can absorb impacts in excess of 5Gs and that is pretty fast, my friend dropped his $500 HP laptop off a bunkbed, about 5 feet onto concrete, all it did was crack the screen in the corner. To say that only mac can handle the forces of a fall is absurd. I am telling you, you aren't making any point, if your an engineer you know every laptop has it's weak point, and that is based on a probability curve.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

I have never had a problem with PCs. I own more of them than I will ever own macs. I purchased them because they were cheap and relatively indespensible. But not today....go look online. Unless you want a netbook, all PC laptops will be at least $600 bucks and if you want a laptop that is equivalent to the macbook in cpu efficiency and energy consumption, you will have to pay at least $1500. PC's are only good for games and even then Microsoft makes an xbox and gaming laptops.

  • @zpgJiggleBilly

I'm not a mac fanboy by any means. I still have my old macbook. I have never owned an iphone or any mac accessory such as the mouse. I have a 5 year old first generation ipod and I even worked at apple as an engineer. I was the only one in my group with a motorola razor. I own two laptops with both ubuntu/redhat and xp installed on both and one desktop PC. To think that you are talking to someone who is ignorant in working with PC's is foolish. I'm tired of debating this shit

  • im a pc but i also have apple products both are the same only do diffrent things work in diffrent ways reason is nothing can do everything so something has to be made for everyone apple = designing and creative stuff e.g. music (ipod) pictures, vids (imac) i work for ICT support at a college which use both pc and mac for diffrent corses pc is used more offten for reasons of data input and reports ect and stuff students mainly do like spreedsheets, i use my pc for gaming, web surfing and coding..

  • i hope those actors were paid well to pretend they like pc.

because with the money those actors earned doing the ad, they can finally use it to buy a mac.

  • @tobyyoby NO.

  • I'm a LINUX and Windows sucks ass

  • I'm a PC, I'm 13, and have the same IQ as Einstein in his IQ climax. Oh, and Macs are confuzzling and insensibly overpriced. I'm way too familiar with the PCs. I also don't like Firefox's Google. Nothing about Macs seem too friendly or warm, if you catch me. We use them at school and I almost chucked the Macbook out the window on more than one occasion.

  • im a PC and i think that macs sucks and are over priced

  • If thats all you can come up with your in denial

  • I'm a PC and linux sucks ass.

  • Save up the money I hear it's worth every grand

  • "Save up the money I hear it's worth every grand"

Just like any PC of the same quality and form factor - you'll pay a good price for it. But honestly not even the most expensive iMac will run you that much, its still only half the price of the top end Sony all in one.

  • I'm not as cool as you. You're allowed in the Mac store, and I can't find one.

OEM or Make Electronics your Own

  • You're not allowed in the Mac store? How come? Well seeing as how Lauren from the first laptop hunters ad didn't actually enter it either.... I can understand. Are you afraid to go in there? Apple stores are actually really nice. But normally packed. When I got my iMac 3+ years ago it was like fighting through waves of people... seriously!

  • Hello ... "The Mac store" ???

I was joking around ... it's the "Apple store"

kidding, making light of the situation .. good debate, chill out.

  • Chill out? Well as long as you do first. You seemed like you were getting huffy there for a moment.

I don't mind debating on here about the subject of Mac vs PC, but when certain users (won't mention names) start calling Mac users retarded and that the only reason we switched to a Mac was because we were too retarded to use Windows... that's when I get annoyed. This shows no class and is uncivilized.

    At least you are civil.

  • Btw.. I know its the Apple store... umm.... Own 2 iMacs, Time Capsule, AppleTV, and 2 iPods.... so I know that. But you said "Mac store" Just like that actress Lauren lol.

  • I wear glasses

    lol, I'll see you later

  • I wear glasses too.

    lol... later

  • later dude ....lol

  • I'm a Mac and I work in retail, education, and the performing arts.

  • I'm a PC and I work in retail, education, manufacturing, marketing, sales, transportation, public works, emergency response, military, and the performing arts.

  • congrats... the idea here is that you are suppose to post your response in the comment box below, not as a response to anyone.

And why post it to me? Trying to "show me up" or something? Its nice that you are involved in so much. I am too, I just only hit on a few of them. When I said I was involved in education and performing arts I didn't specify how may roles in each.

This isn't a pissing contest, why are you making it into one?

  • Don't you remember?

"And why post it to me? Trying to "show me up" or something?" endlessdream94

Like you did me. Welcome dream, to interactive posting

  • actually no i did nothing to you.... when I posted "Im a Mac, etc etc" I posted it to the comments section, not to any user specifically like you did.

And what brought on the sarcastic anger towards me? Relax man.

  • I'm a pc and Í'm going to switch over to a mac.

  • Save up the money I hear it's worth every grand

  • "Save up the money I hear it's worth every grand"

This is just a misconception that you have to pay thousands of dollars for a Mac. I just paid ONLY a grand for my new iMac. And there are a few Macs under a grand. And to get a comparable PC that is worth any quality any buyer will have to pay a bit of money as well. Take into consideration the added return of better resale value on a Mac. In the end Macs actually figure out to be a great deal. Just have an open mind about it.

  • 1st, I've seen you before ... emeek vid?

2nd, I was only being funny.

    3. Apple isn't over priced, they just lake a midtower. Not a Mini, not an imac.

A Quad Core, 4GB Ram with a good Video card. For 1,300

    No monitor, keyboard, or mouse.

Apple is blind to the market, and what about a netbook? I'll stop, ranting again

  • Ahhhh no... I'm endlessdream94. I know who Emeek is though.

Its ok if you were being funny, but for those of us that didn't pay several grand for a Mac (most of us) it gets annoying.

And sure you can get a quad core for 1300, you can also get one for 4000-5000. So it goes both ways.

Apple isn't blind to it they normally either lead or they watch a segment for a while and then change it (iPod?) - Do some searches for Apple Netbook - be surprised.

  • Why doesn't Apple make a Quad core midtower for 1,300 bucks? No monitor, meaning a Mini with balls, and sacrifice the size. iMac, is a laptop with a huge screen. Mini is underpowered, and the Pro, is well, 3500-5000 bucks

  • Apple just simply doesn't compete in that segment, much in the same way that not all other PC vendors compete in all segments. The Mini is certainly not underpowered for that form factor - check its specs compared to the others, the iMac is more than a huge laptop... ever use one? I have 2. I've used laptops as well. Its not a laptop even though it uses laptop components - but most PC all-in-ones do as well.

Mac Pro - go check pricing, you're a bit off.

  • you're not reading my comments correctly. The mini is in it's own class. The foot print/power is very good. But it's not a midtower. The imac, I'm sorry, it has laptop parts i it, and the ram is DDR3 but has very high latency.

Only the Mac Pro, isn't using laptop parts. They lack a mid tower. AND WHEN HAS Apple been shy entering a busy market ??? (IPhone in the Cell phone market.)

  • Ok wait, the Mac Mini is NOT in its own class - its in with other miniPCs. Try looking up the Dell Studio Hybrid. Not many in this class - the mini started it, but others are there now.

Mostly ALL all-in-ones have notebook components... I just disagree that an all in one is a large notebook - while somewhat portable, hardly the same.

I never said Apple was shy, I said they sit back and watch that segment and then change it - iPhone/iPod/iMac.

And do you see what I mean about the mac Pro?

  • wow, ether you are ignoring what I'm writing or you are not reading correctly.

    Let's entertain the first thought.

"Mostly ALL all-in-ones have notebook components" - yes I know that

    question:

"Why doesn't Apple make a Quad core midtower"

  • No, I am reading your comments... but you aren't seeing what I am saying. Apple doesn't have an entry in this form factor for the same reason why some PC makers don't have an entry in all form factors either... I guess its just their choice.

  • form factor. Are we going there? Should we have a Ms. Computer Case pageants in recognition for Apple's achievements?

"Oh what do we do, with a medium box?" the mid tower will always be the bride's maid but never the bride.

  • Why are you getting defensive and sarcastic??? Its actually all about form factor. Apple doesn't have an entry in the midtower, doesn't mean its not cool... just they chose not to put an entry there. No need to get all defensive! Relax.

  • I'm a PC, and I give responses, to give this video views.

LOL, read and keep using PC's and Mac's. It's graaaaaaaaareaTE!

  • I'm a Mac and I gave this video views as well since I keep going back and forth with Thingsontheweb. Although everyone - he seems to be getting a bit upset at me and getting all hyped up. I don't think he realizes this but PCs and Macs coexist.... AND that since a Mac can run windows - it too is a PC.

  • Lol that's pretty dumb :p

  • 

  • I'm a pc and i sell fish!

  • im a pc, but i run linux

  • no way the PC will go out

  • booo

    hit this GUYS

  • Microsoft is going out, they need to accept that. Mac is the way to go

  • 4% Of the computing Population OH Mac are so gonna take over.

  • I'm a pc and I hate people who hate pc's...

I'm a pc and I like Mac but not Macs...

I'm a pc and technically I can do more things than other brands...

    I'm a pc and I am 15 yrs old!

    I'm a pc and I am proud!

  • haha i like the man with the beard :] but Mac ads are funnier

  • I'm a mac and i get things done quicker

  • im a pc, check me out:

    -200 Watt power supply

-NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard - includes PCI-Express 2.0, DDR3 Memory, and Support for Intel 1600MHz FSB

    -Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz 12MB Cache 1600MHz FSB

-4GB Corsair Dominator Overclocked Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz

-Triple 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280

    -1TB (2 x 500GB) SATA 3Gb/s 7,200RPM 2 x 16MB Cache

    -500GB SATA 3Gb/s 7,200RPM 16MB Cache (storage drive)

    -Liquid cooling

    move faster than that, bitch

  • LIES.... 200 watt power supply for all of that??? U kiddin me right... that supply would fail even for a 8800gt.

I like PC and i use it every day, but people like you give them a bad name by posting bull crap like that..

  • How the hell are you running that on a 200 Watt PSU?

  • i think he missed a 0 in 200

  • mac ads are way better. They are actually good. These pc ads are lame.

  • Yeah the Mac ads are funny, and if EVERY PC was like the on in their Ads, theyd be correct.

  • I have to say this is the gayest commercial I have ever seen.... Just saying. Microsoft needs a new Advertising Official.

  • mac got owned

  • are u serious?

  • im a pc because blacks cant afford macs

  • LOL

  • I'm a pc, and I built my pc.

  • thats whatsup

  • I don't understand. Who cares if the whole world uses PCs? Who cares if the PC was made out to look like a geek in the Mac ads? The whole point of the Mac ads were to knock on Vista itself, to say that PCs have viruses, are slower, have many flaws, and so forth. That's a direct attack at the PC, and frankly, this video makes me think that the Mac ads are true. Where are the rebuttals? Where's the "I'm a PC, and I have what it takes to be your computer?" Why should I buy a PC?

  • lol im a pc and fuck the mac

  • im a pc and i eat pancakes

  • Competition forces innovation

  • I am a PC and i play the PC.

  • Im a PC and I point out the obvious

  • I think everyone needs to just use whichever platform fits them and stop trying to convert others. I am a Film maker and use MAC myself, MAC works much better than PC for me. For some PC will work better such as gamers. Anyways I don't want more people switching to MAC. PC is full of viruses because of the high users numbers. So PLEASE don't use MAC so that my MAC continues to never have any problems.

  • any idea who that guy is, who says "not a human thinking, not a human doing.. "

  • His name is Deepak Chopra, and he is an expert on mind-body medicine.

  • @veryvishal It is Jeff Goldblum's chubby younger brother.

  • Anyone notice the slogan at the end, "Windows, life without walls." Like... firewalls, the walls that keep out viruses? The walls that protect my privacy? The walls that hold up the roof and prevent the house from collapsing? Seems to me that walls are pretty necessary.

  • That's really ignorant. It said "life without walls" as in, no walls to stop you. It's a type of metaphor to say that PCs are used by all kinds of of people, as demonstrated in the ad (There's Africans, Americans, Asians, Europeans, etc.).

The main draw of the Mac vs. PC ads is that it makes PC out to be for boring, un-fun, nerdy guys, when this ad is demonstrating that tons of different people use it.

  • It should have been more like...

Hi im a pc and mac is insanely jealous of me, because everyone loves me and i dominate the market

  • My name is Steven Hawking, and I speak through a PC.

  • Im a pc and i use MAC to make this ad

  • Don't like PC
