I'm sorry but there are some crap comments here.

Firstly, people who are obviously have a gay relationship with Microsoft saying "You'll get banned and my boyfriend Microsoft will come round and hit you with a stick".

Then there's the people who are really stupid kids who want to go and buy a new faceplate which does all the rest for you.

The fan is WAY overpowering for the LEDs. Next time, you should have either gotten a whisper max fan and not installed the LEDs in it, or just gotten the same color fan. just saying

I think talismoon sell clear shrouds called the crystal flow or soemthing, iv'e been looking on ebay for one for ages, but had no luck.

This xbox didn't get banned, in order to get banned the dvd drive has to be disconnected while the box is turned on and pluged into an ethernet cable.

I had it for about 2 weeks while I was making it, I have since sold it. I did a test on it and ran it for a couple of hours when I was done making it and encountered zero problems. The guy I sold it to hasn't said anything bad about it either, and that was several months ago.

dude you said quiet dvd drive? that's because those whisperfans are fucking noisy... it looks like they're hooked to 12V going like 100%

there's something wrong with that dvd drive as well, since it's making grinding noises 1:53.

i like the quietness of NXE HDD installation... but i wouldn't want your 360 since the fans itself are making more noise then ANY dvd drive on full speed on the 360

but nonetheless nice mods ! :) fix the fans dude! no more 12V!

Yeah, the dvd drive is loud at that part. When you start up the xbox the eye thinks there is a CD in the drive for some reason and tries to read it with nothing in there which is the loud grinding noise, while it doesn't hurt anything it is bothersome.

And yeah the fans are louder too, but there is a switch inside the case that you can press to switch it back down to the normal voltage, so that would eliminate your problem there. Check out the video of the green modded xbox, I did a different dvd drive which is a lot more quiet. I'm not a fan of the XCM dvd drive cover so I won't be using that again.
