Question: I don't understand how Ferraro claimed journalists were sexist when most of the comments circulating around was how remarkable it was to have woman running for president for the very first time??

I am an 83 year old woman who has lived through 13 Male Presidents. Imagine - not one woman amongst them? Shame on this country. I have seen women running many other countries around the world but not America. We currently have the very best opportunity possible to have the finest and brightest of all women available to run the greatest country on earth and instead of of availing ourselves of this opportunity some would thow it away. Must I die without seeing this great nation run by Hillary?
Surely there must be an American woman who is more deserving and competent than Hillary. Does the first female U.S. President have to have been in the White House already on the coat-tails of her husband? Isn't that a legacy/nepotism/dynasty kind of thing? Most people that don't like Hillary, don't like her bc of who she is, not what gender she is. I look forward with great enthusiasm to our first deserving woman President, but Hillary is NOT it. This is well know in social welfare studies - whether it's child sexual abuse, battering, verbal abuse or otherwise. It's the nature of abuse and abusive people. I'm so disgusted. I don't think women should vote for Hillary because she is a woman. They should vote for her because she is more competitive on the electoral map according to state by state polls vs McCain and has more knowledge on the economy and is best prepared to lead the US.
