@RadXPictures No, it was a music video. It was shot before MTV, so it wasn't very popular. Another video from the Hard Promises album is "Letting You Go." You can't put links in youtube but if you search Tom Petty The Waiting, it will pop up.

Eddie is interviewed and he comments several times about the influence of Tom Petty on him while in school...Then Eddie sings with Tom and the band, singing lead on Tom's hit while Tom is next to him just playing guitar...Very Cool. But, yes, they should do more!

If anyone has a decent lift of Tom doing this at Live Aid in '85, you'd do us all a favor to put it on YT. I have the audio only, and the quality is only fair. But his and Mike's performance with the =big= band with the horn section is pretty special.

i love him. not only is his music life changable but he has the coolest attitude...hes just a regular cool guy. if you look at his interviews he's just...cool. i cant describe him he understands things regular people go through. hes just...amazing.

I'm just really getting into Petty I loved his work in the Wilburys and I bought the Anthology best of disc set...this song is one of my favorites! I'm going to buy this documentary today.
