Most for that use... have an extra long stick... I'm guessing the machines been retro fitted and they didnt opt to use a longer stick maybe its for in harder ground use... aka.. packed soil in the march or its rocky bottom channel or whatever but still usually those still have a longer stick
actually the funniest thing is that it seems to be a zero turn... so its obviously been retro fitted whats the point in having a zero turn in one of those unless you're loading onto a barge thats going to be that height.

It can be loaded into a lorry. And its base can be widen when travelling in water.
