At 2:50 the host mentions that Odesa is Russia. Sorry, but Odesa was in the Ukrainian SSR at the time. Now it is in independent Ukraine, not Russia. The Gulag was only one aspect of Stalin's terror. The Ukrainian famine and the mass purges were another.
