  • keeps buffing on me, any one have same problem?

  • Been looking for how to do this since I started looming! Did you figure out a way to fix the gap yet?

  • @RonHeartsMe You could "sew" it together.

  • I found it and finished the hat. I made two and both times everything was fine except the part that sits around my head was really tight both times. I used a huge loom, what did i do wrong?

  • @scgammon Did you make sure that one half of the loom was casting off using 2-3 chains in between the pegs with the crochet hook and one side not (or only with one chain?) It might just mean you might need to increase the amount of chains in between the pegs when taking it off. One side will have more chains inbetween than the other side. Does this help?

  • I love your Video so much. You inspire me to start making a unique cute & fashionable hat by using a loom. Thank you so much. You are my idol !!

But, have you ever made a hat by using a long loom ? If so,do you have a video? (Pls kindly give me the link to YOUR video, too because I accidentally found this video :-)

    Hugs from Sweden !

  • can you tell me an alternative cast off, i dont have a crochet needle :( i must've lost it.

    please & thank you

  • @scgammon I'm not sure what you can do without having a crochet hook. Sorry.

  • AWESOME! Thank you so much for this very informative tutorial :-)

  • Awesome job with the explaination

  • @smurfalusion Thanks!

  • I dont know if you know what i am talking about but have you saw the hats with the mowhawk? I am interested in making one if you come up with any ideas will you please email me ?

  • @AngelElizabeth1 I couldn't figure out how to email you on youtube. But, you might have a couple options. (I haven't officially made one but plan to!) Try adding "pom poms", place them as close together on the hat and then trim them. Or, add fringe/tassles to the top and trim them. See what works for you. I'll try to make one as soon as I can incase I get any other ideas.

  • I still confused on how you did your visor haha I'll give a go to the pattern I have and if it comes out looking someone normal I will share it with you on fb!

  • @kgo30 Okay, that's fine, can't wait to see it!

  • Thank you so much for this video, been searching for a tutorial on how to make a slouchy beanie. Found patterns but couldn't understand them. Thanks again!!

  • @kgo30 Hope you like it once it's done!

  • @Galligsgirl Starting it now, so will see what happens! LOL I have a pattern from provo craft for a visor beanie, cant understand the instructions. Was wondering if I pm you on fb if you could help me figure it out?

  • @kgo30 I don't do alot with patterns lol. But, I made a hat with a visor (I believe the pic is on my Facebook). All I did was work half the loom back and forth for a few inches then, brought it up like you would a normal brim (knitted over) and then started working my way around the whole loom. Like when you are making a normal hat. Make sense? LOL.....

  • Awesome video! I've been able to read the patterns, but its nice to be able to see it done to make sure I do it right. Haven't tried it yet, but I am very soon! Thanks again for sharing! :)

  • @firejunkiewife Thanks! Have fun!

  • thanks a ton :D I've started mine, and I used two strand of yarn... its a bit to bunched cause its like the kind you're using so i feel that was my first mistake but it might turn out, who knows :D

  • @TheChelseacraze Believe me, I've done a lot of practice hats when trying out a new idea. lol

  • Oh my goodness thank you! I've been looking for this pattern for 3 years. :D May I show you mt result when I'm all done?

  • @OuranxAddict I hope it comes out the way you want! And, of course show me your results!

  • Comment removed

  • @Galligsgirl Sorry about all the questions, but when you are doing the back of the hat and skip kitting the peg you knit to (stitch marker 2), when you knit back, do you skip knitting the peg you originally started on the second time (stitch marker 1)?

  • @OuranxAddict You are working back and forth from one stitch marker to another, so the stitch marker peg will get wrapped as you go back and forth.

  • @Galligsgirl Thanks :D

  • so basically , the big yellow hoop is for the slouch hats? i was wondering what to do with that one . good video ! thanks again for another good one !

  • @bbsmith45 The yellow one can be used for regular hats for those with bigger heads. Or to do a flat panel piece or a bag.

  • i love your website. your descriptions and easy to follow videos rival the best ive seen....

  • @suzhussey Thank you! I hope all the projects I've shown you how to do have come out just like you wanted!

  • thanks for making this video! i can't wait to make mine but i think i'm gonna try the green kk since my head is small

  • @sherryrpo Go for it! LOL. But if you use two strands of a yarn you might need the bigger one.
