  • I love how their first kiss in the car is so sweet and understated, it's not this big fake hollywood scene.

  • hi thevisualedge! do you have this movie?.. or has anyone have this movie?...can u guys upload if you have...thnx! i really wana see it!

  • ever since I saw identity like a month ago Ive been watching john cusack movies like crazy, I actually watched say anything here in youtube and loved it so much I went to buy it the next day. AWESOME movie. anyone who doesnt love lloyd dobler is crazy =)

  • "Am I wrecking my car?"

"Yeah, you are a little bit."

GOD I love Lloyd Dobler, and this movie.

  • I was (still am) like Lloyd Dobler and never even saw the movie. But many females were (and still are) cutthroat and don't appreciate a good guy that's honest about with his affection. Kindness is weakness to them. And it always seems to be a contest of who can humiliate and undermine the other fastest. My inner Lloyd Dobler is pessimistic and looking to move to another country where the women are sane and have more talents than holding a cell phone to their head.

  • ... you're very modest

  • Yeah, you sound like a real affectionate man. :P Most girls in this country like honest, sincere, modest gentlemen who don't leave loser comments on Youtube videos. Get over it and deal.

  • Most girls in this country are snide idiots like you that talk a lot of bullsh*t over the internet to people they don't know while jumping to conclusions never implied. If you were the awesome women you claim men of ALL races in the US wouldn't be looking overseas for sane and non-obese partners. And BTW, keep all of this in mind the next time you whine about men.

  • Whining about men really isn't a hobby of mine, I like proving whiny men wrong over Youtube comments instead. Dude, it's a video for America's most adorable '80s movie couple. Take your bullsh*t somewhere else.

"My inner Lloyd Dobler is pessimistic and looking to move to another country where the women are sane and have more talents than holding a cell phone to their head."

I think any woman would like a man who thought of them a little more highly than that. :p

  • Trick please! Your a fugging teenager popping shit on the internet to someone that wasn't even addressing you. Take your lil silly azz back to high school and deal with those boys. When and IF you learn something THEN you can come and talk shit you wouldn't dare say to someone's face. And just for the record you ARE whining about men. You're whining about ME. Now stay off my nuts and let it go.

  • Good job, smart one. In case you hadn't noticed, this movie is for teenagers. Just a heads-up.

  • ummm, Yeah, which is what I WAS when it came out in 1989. See, I could tell you're a lil teenager because you're lashing out getting real arrogant and cocky. Instead of talking shit, you can learn something about males you might not have known before. That's the difference between 1989 and 2008. We knew how to STFU and listen without running off at the mouth. If you live long enough, take this in and absorb it. Lots of grown women like you wish they had. They were "sass girls" too.

  • Yawn, this is getting boring. You're old and lame. I could talk to my dad if I wanted to hear this crap, and I have other videos to watch. Get over yourself, the world doesn't revolve around you and your loser little self-righteous opinions. :p

  • And YET you post. But I know why. . . . NO COMEBACK. Now take your lil mouthy azz somewhere and go play outside and keep the fugg out of grown folk's conversations. No one asked you to post to me, now did they? So I guess YOU revolve around my "self-righteous opinions". Hopefully you learned how to STFU. But you're a hoodrat. I know. But start yapping without the safety of internet and someone will drop kick you. Just some thoughtful advice apparently Daddy didn't tell you. - Little kid.

  • ...lol. Are you reading yourself? Seriously, this is starting to get comical. Did you just call me a "hoodrat," honestly? You're more of a tool than I thought. Why the "fugg" do you care so much? Good God, you're a loser.

    Say Anything, FTW! ^_^

  • ummm, yes you ARE a hoodrat. It shows in your serious lack of intelligence and need to argue. And who calls people "loser"? This ain't high school dummy. And I don't give a dayum about you. I just like slapping the living shid out of you on Youtube because you had to be an azz. And you need better comebacks. Like I told you, stay the "fuck" out of grown folks conversations and maybe you wouldn't get embarrassed. That's what's comical.

  • I'm a woman, and I kind of understand what you're saying. Let me be frank. I travel abroad, and the women might be *slightly* more sane...however, guess what kid? You're shallow and you want a *hot* babe on your arm. Because there's a zillion nice girls stateside...but maybe they're not *good* enough for you. Take a look at yourself. Just some motherly advice. (I don't know how old you are, I'm 37)

  • Motherly advice? Here's some manly advice: Please STFU. I'm well in my 30s and am no one's "kid". You don't know if I "want a hot babe on my arm" or not. So if you want to give advice, try not jumping to stereotypical conclusions you learned in 10th grade.

  • Oh, Lloyd is so sweet. I love the way he sweeps the glass away in front of her. Can you be any cuter than that?

And Diane looks him up in the year book, and she looks so dissapointed. Is she mental?? Lloyd is so cute.

Oh, and the driving lesson thing... They are so cute together. I love it when they're gonna switch seats, and they don't get out of the car, they just climb over each other.

Seriously, Diane's father can drop dead. He should be happy she's with such a great guy.

  • I always thought she was slightly crazy or neurotic or something because not only is he so sweet, but he's so hot!!! I would be so happy if I found my Lloyd Dobler!!!

  • Well, I wouldn't blame her if the only thing she had to go by was the yearbook photo. After all, we teenagers know that yearbook pics aren't exactly known for their photographic perfection... :P

  • "I'll be in my office"

    *Goes to bathroom*

    LOL.

  • omg. i seriously want to see this movie...

  • i love the "kid" guitar he does.

  • Wouldn't you just love to date a guy like this when you were in high school

  • I wish I had a "Lloyd Dobler" in my life too :(

  • "No English tips, I won't give you any English tips of any kind."

    LOL

  • i love your cuts very much. but how could you end it just as the car scene was coming on? such a tease. but thanks for making this. love this movie.

  • If you look closely ... you'll see that the phone number Dad leaves for Diane is NOT the number Lloyd gives over the phone. Oops!

  • I did the same thing before I called this girl I was in love with while in high school:went in the bathroom, dialed up to the last number, fixed my hair in the mirror and pressed the last number and lefta message to her dad..when I was 18 back in 1985. Funny remembering that watching this film, which is a teen classic.

  • i want a Lloyd Dobbler too! and he likes the clash! the perfect man...

  • i saw this movie on a first date with a girl who looked just like diane court. seriously. we made out in my chevy malibu...just kidding...it was a chevy nova...the rest is true

  • I love this movie. John Cusack was adorable in it.

I wish I had a "Lloyd Dobler" in my life.

  • John Cusack was GORGEOUS in that one.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • LOL i loveeee john cusack!! Great Scene!

  • today is tomorrow. gahhh

  • Wow, John Cusack is so amazing. I love the little part where before he dials the last digit, he looks in the mirror to make sure he looks alright. My only quibble is that there is music playing when Diane explains her parents' divorce. It just doesn't work (a rarity for a Crowe flick), and it was silent--and better--on VHS. Why did they change it for the DVD???

  • Yes this is a great clip, very real, I don't know what guy hasn't gone through this!!!

  • One of my favorite scenes (: thanks for posting!

  • This is the clip we´ve been missing on YouTube , thanks a lot! Love the movie , love cusack!
