I've seen Cheikh Lô in Salerno (Italy) in 2003, I met him in the backstage, he is really "charmant". I've seen his performance also in Antwerp and Bruxelles: his voice and this music are magic.
And it's the first song my daughter heard in her live :-) -only few minutes after she was born. - Is there anybody out there who could try a translation for me please????
i`ll try this sound is talking about when you have a kid teach him the life ,how to act, give him a good education.because when he grow up ,he`ll remember all happened when he was young . don`t always let him with what he want because sometime it may hurt him.teach him the good way to do thing in his life.

la canzone si chiama "xalé" e si trova nell'album "Lamp Fall" del 2000. Xalé in wolof significa 'bambino/i'. Ciao
