for some reason i just can't seem to get the same results...i suppose it all depends on editing..

What do you mean by quality? If you mean the clear contrast, I have no mods on the HV20 I use, I wish I had a UV filter since that would help with the sky color. I simply use levels and curves to bring out more "emotion" in the video.
