Hey, this is great. I reckon these guys are one of the very few guys who dance. Most crews just do tricks and the day is done. This crew is fantastic and their style is unique and captivating. I watched the Poreotics piece and there was no way they were better than these guys.
They won for being Cirque Du Soleil. Transitions were ugly, general transition choreography was too easy for first place by far. Such a bummer. Who'd they bribe?
I love poreotics as much as the next guy but it's kinda dumb to say that they are/were way better when this was before ABDC cause if they weren't in abdc or if they didn't win abdc then most of you won't even give a damn+ NO! they were not better in 2009, maybe now they are but not then. They will have their time but they weren't right for 2009 and 2010. I love the fact that HHI really showcases the talent around the world and it proves that there are good crews from all over and not just the US

Second of all, no hip hop moves? you guys have got to be kidding me. I've never seen so much fresh choreography and bboy moves. Guess what. Bboying is part of the five pillars of Hip Hop.

Hmm. Like @tktrix said they did something that wasn't expected. For this contest it was great. But in my opinion (MY..) when I was watching and after I didn't fell passion for dance. And I didn't want to dance their dance, it was somehow without any fire in it. This one though popped in my mind - "I fell like dancing ballet instead of this hip-hop". So the thing is - I (again it's only ME> ) didn't fell any fire coming from them. Well maybe it's just the effect of video power. ^^

Singapore blew them out of the water... I love system of a down, but the song they chose is literally impossible to match with hip hop dance... the beats are too erratic when it gets heavy which lead to the whole thing feeling really disconnected for me. Disappointed in who they chose to win.
The reason R.A.F. CREW won is because they brought something people weren't expecting and pulled it off. They might not rely as heavily on tricks as the other acts but the attitude is still very much hip-hop and they have given the best DANCE performance by far - and the most original.
Yes, this is a DANCE competition, not a TRICK competition.
For those of you who would prefer to see somebody spinning on their head there are plenty of said videos on youtube.

They deserved their win, but dont think you know whats on other peoples minds. Im a Poreotics person, but yeah R.A.F Crew is still a good crew. Poreotics performance was original, they didnt do just a trick routine. They DANCED, while making people smile.

In my most honest of opinions I would change the order of the placings of course but when it all draws down to it, it comes to style and variety, which in this competition had a lack of uniqueness (every group could mimic the other) Where as in this particular group that just isnt possible...so please allow them their victory :(
Everyone commenting here is blurting out the exact reason why they arnt a good judge.Your basing your whole 1st 2nd 3rd placings on your personal opinions on dance Which in Hip hops case is WAY more then tutting and technical stuff. A judge looks at roughly 4 things. Style (is it unique and to their own?), Choreography (together in sync and noticeably done as in any mistakes would completely screw it over) Variety (do they stick to 1 type of dance?) And talent (can you teach anyone these moves?)
you guys think that hip hop is all about awesome tricks, but it really isnt. The judges score on how in sync all there moves were and how precisely they did it. if you understand what Im saying, then you would see why these guys won the competition.
I got to see the 2010 World Championships lastnite @ the Orleans..every division title went to all-female crews..they earned it...jbwkz influence on dance is now officially global..

its all in the details, these guys do a lot great moves and formations and it all flows so well. its not a traditional hip hop routine but i dont see the problem with originality. great win for them, i would have given it to joyce and the boys, but these guys were also very good.
Being treated this way, was so embarrassing! most of the comments were against the results, it was my first time to see a rejection these huges.. What a shame!!!!!

@tktrix Yes they did. But if someone wants to see just a few more tricks, it doesnt mean they want ALL tricks. This crew is great yes. They deserved their win, but dont think you know whats on other peoples minds. Im a Poreotics person, but yeah R.A.F Crew is still a good crew. Poreotics performance was original, they didnt do just a trick routine. They DANCED, while making people smile.

they have great moves ! and the super flexible way was amusing .... but it does not feel like hip hop At all... D: ... i really don't like the idea of using system of a down... though it is a great song... it just don't seem to fit for me ... great dancing, but i think poreotics or singapore should have won :S

In my most honest of opinions I would change the order of the placings of course but when it all draws down to it, it comes to style and variety, which in this competition had a lack of uniqueness (every group could mimic the other) Where as in this particular group that just isnt possible...so please allow them their victory :(

Everyone commenting here is blurting out the exact reason why they arnt a good judge.Your basing your whole 1st 2nd 3rd placings on your personal opinions on dance Which in Hip hops case is WAY more then tutting and technical stuff. A judge looks at roughly 4 things. Style (is it unique and to their own?), Choreography (together in sync and noticeably done as in any mistakes would completely screw it over) Variety (do they stick to 1 type of dance?) And talent (can you teach anyone these moves?)

you guys think that hip hop is all about awesome tricks, but it really isnt. The judges score on how in sync all there moves were and how precisely they did it. if you understand what Im saying, then you would see why these guys won the competition.

its all in the details, these guys do a lot great moves and formations and it all flows so well. its not a traditional hip hop routine but i dont see the problem with originality. great win for them, i would have given it to joyce and the boys, but these guys were also very good.
